"I just came from a meeting of the Israeli cabinet. We discussed the proposed framework for a deal with Iran.
The cabinet is united in strongly opposing the proposed deal.
This deal would pose a grave danger to the region and to the world and would threaten the very survival of the State of Israel.
The deal would not shut down a single nuclear facility in Iran, would not destroy a single centrifuge in Iran and will not stop R&D on Iran's advanced centrifuges.
On the contrary. The deal would legitimize Iran's illegal nuclear program. It would leave Iran with a vast nuclear infrastructure. A vast nuclear infrastructure remains in place.
The deal would lift sanctions almost immediately and this at the very time that Iran is stepping up its aggression and terror in the region and beyond the region.
In a few years, the deal would remove the restrictions on Iran's nuclear program, enabling Iran to have a massive enrichment capacity that it could use to produce many nuclear bombs within a matter of months.
The deal would greatly bolster Iran's economy. It would give Iran thereby tremendous means to propel its aggression and terrorism throughout the Middle East.
Such a deal does not block Iran's path to the bomb.
Such a deal paves Iran's path to the bomb.
And it might very well spark a nuclear arms race throughout the Middle East and it would greatly increase the risks of terrible war.
Now, some say that the only alternative to this bad deal is war.
That's not true.
There is a third alternative – standing firm, increasing the pressure on Iran until a good deal is achieved.
And finally let me say one more thing. Iran is a regime that openly calls for Israel's destruction and openly and actively works towards that end.
Just two days ago, in the midst of the negotiations in Lausanne, the commander of the Basij security forces in Iran said this: "The destruction of Israel is non-negotiable."
Well, I want to make clear to all. The survival of Israel is non-negotiable.
Israel will not accept an agreement which allows a country that vows to annihilate us to develop nuclear weapons, period.
In addition, Israel demands that any final agreement with Iran will include a clear and unambiguous Iranian recognition of Israel's right to exist."

I still think the U.S. should establish a permanent footprint in the region. Something that includes oil deposits so it can be a self-funding operation.

I keep seeing the “legacy” theme and I just don’t get it. How in the world is a “deal” that is a complete sham any kind of “legacy?” There is no deal. There is just an announcement of a deal which no can read and for which one of the parties immediately renounces the claims made about it. History will judge this very harshly especially after millions die.
I don’t think o or kerry care about a legacy at all, at least not in the traditional understanding of the word. I think they are seeking a very radical agenda w/regard to islam, iran and the middle east power structures and all this talk about legacy is just cover.

Brother, I’m afraid America has passed a point of no return in that regard. All we can do now is pray for our families and friends - and let The Lord’s will be done. Hopefully the penalty our nation must pay will be done quickly and painlessly for Believers.

I don’t understand the world. Call it by other countries. Say that Pakistan wants to nuke Netherlands. And the USA makes a deal that Pak can slowly but surely increase their nuclear infrastructure. How do you THINK Netherlands would respond???
Why does no one call for Obama to respond to this from Netanyahu? Why doesn’t anyone care about the dichotomy between the clear, outspoken, unhidden GOAL of Iran and all of its terror-tentacles, and them being able to build the program (slowly) in which to get it accomplished???

Its not a news topic because the media doesn’t understand what is and has been said about Israel, they don’t believe in the word of God, they have their own agenda.
The Government is just as bad if not worse. Look at Harry Reid, how dirty and under handed he is and has been, but yet he’s a ‘upstanding Mormon’ and Nancy Peloski, an ‘upstanding Catholic’ do you think these two, for example, read the Bible and know what is in it, really in it for what God has said? NO....their power is MONEY and fame and whatever they think can make their lives easier, they are spawns of the devil....
The only way this Country is going to get better is thru God and believe in God the way the Jewish people do...there are enough of us Christians that know what the Bible says about his land and God help us all if we don’t stand with them......
