Defiant Democratic Senator Bob Menendez is 'outraged' and 'angry' after 14-count corruption indictment charges him with bribery, fraud and helping donor's THREE girlfriends get travel visas
An angry Sen. Bob Menendez said Wednesday night that prosecutors who charged him with 14 federal corruption crimes 'are dead wrong.'
Menendez, a powerful Democrat accused of using his office to improperly benefit a political donor.
A Newark, New Jersey federal grand jury on Wednesday accused the New Jersey Democrat of bribery, honest services fraud, conspiracy, violating the federal Travel Act, and making false statements.
'I am confident,' Menendez said, straining to speak over loud applause. 'At the end of the day I will be vindicated and they will be exposed.'
The senator had to ask for quiet as cheers and chants of 'Si, se puede!' turned his defiant press conference into a political circus.

A vindictive and childish President couldn’t take the heat brought by Menendez and is attempting to get rid of him for words on Israel and Iran.
It was noted yesterday that it could be costly when Menendez votes against the nomination of Lynch for attorney general.
Over on the Breaking News thread, it was pointed out that Menendez was defiant on Cuba as well.
