That is more than 48,000 individual donors, if you go by the average. That is grassroots, that is not $10,000 a plate dinner and cocktail fundraisers.
This the Ted’s strategy... forget dollar to dollar matching with Jeb...he can’t do that (yet) but even so, Ted wins by building a coalition that Jeb can’t. So even if Jeb gets big $$ donations he won’t be able to match the millions of people out there supporting Ted with their money and their feet spreading his message.
