Iran condemns Saudi strikes in Yemen as ‘dangerous step’

TEHRAN — Iran condemned regional rival Saudi Arabia on Thursday for launching air strikes on Houthi rebels in Yemen, saying it was “a dangerous step” that violated “international responsibilities and national sovereignty.”

Foreign ministry spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham said that the military action would “further complicate the situation, spread the crisis and remove opportunities for a peaceful resolution of Yemen’s internal differences.”

“The fact that Saudi Arabia has fanned the flames of a new war in the region shows its carelessness,” he said, in comments carried by the Fars news agency.

“The smoke of this fire will go into the eyes of Saudi Arabia as war is never limited to one place only. We hope this military operation will be halted immediately and the Yemen problem solved through political means.”

Saudi Arabia is mad at the USA for not doing more in stopping Yemen from being taken over by forces friendly to Iran. They consider it putting Iran right in their backyard.

Obama is turning the entire Middle East into an ABSOLUTE DISASTER AREA! He couldn't have done more to create this disaster even if he tried! Come to think about, he probably was trying!

“The smoke of this fire will go into the eyes of Saudi Arabia as war is never limited to one place only”

Maybe Saudi Arabia and Israel can take care of a mutual problem.

If a little shooting were to break out between Iran and Saudi Arabia, would not be surprised to see planes with Saudi markings attack the Iranian heavy water plant and the centrifuges. The pilots however may speak only limited Arabic with a distinctive accent.

Hussein’s policy in the Middle East is so far very successful and surely gives him satisfaction. The only big bump in his road is Israel and I believe he expects to flatten that bump soon

Years from now people will look back on the Obama years and say, WTF?

I've had this thought in recent weeks, that as the Iranians in Tehran and the Iranian sympathizers in the White House maneuver together maybe SA will find common cause with the only sane leadership on the planet.

Years from now people will be doing everything they can just to stay alive for another day.

We’re in the early stages of full blown WWIII.

Looking back how they got there wont be a luxury they can afford.

Many seem to have forgotten that it was Al Queda and Saudis that did 9-11. It was Sunnis in Iraq that supported Saddam that killed most of Americans. It is mostly Sunnis that have formed ISIS. Yet the USA media is constantly touting the Shiites as the problem.

The real problem is the perpetual movement by some to involve the USA in a perpetual internal Muslim divide. It isn’t up to me, but if it was I’d pull our troops out the Muslim quagmire and start actually defending USA borders and quit wasting our kids and money in the ME.

There were Saudi individuals who were involved, but while it is clear that Osama Bin Ladin was involved in the planning and operation ... it was never shown that the Saudi Arabian government was involved in the planning and operation!

The 28 redacted pages says the Saudis were according to some who’ve seen them.

George Washington’s “ foreign entanglements” statement were spot on. The USA is being manipulated and destroyed because of a web that other nations have woven outside of our control.

I did say that “Saudi” individuals were involved ... but what we’re talking about here is if it was a “Saudi Arabian GOVERNMENT OPERATION” ... you see ... :-) ...

About time they used some of the military equipment we sold or gave them instead of waiting for us to do it for them.
