Employee to Home Depot: Stop pushing homosexuality
GOP USA ^ | 3/23/2015 | Michael F. Haverluck

Posted on 03/25/2015 5:53:16 AM PDT by HomerBohn

In an open letter to his employer, Home Depot employee Timothy Noffsinger, expressed loud and clear how he feels about the company’s promotion of homosexual behavior.

Besides going against his deeply held religious convictions, Noffsinger, a member of Denver Bible Church, expressed in his letter how its aggressive endorsement of homosexuality in the workplace is detrimental to productivity.

"What would happen if Craig Menear, Chairman and CEO of The Home Depot (THD), were to appear at the next board meeting in lipstick and a wig wearing a skirt and pantyhose?” Noffsinger asked. “In the midst of such absurdity, could the Board of Directors function as though there were nothing wrong and work effectively?”

Noffsinger goes on to answer his own question, demonstrating how disruptive Home Depot’s pro-homosexual environment has been — not only to its employees, but to its customers, as well.

“I doubt it … That same kind of discord would take hostage any workplace,” Noffsinger contends. “Certainly, it harms the professional image of the North Lakewood Home Depot store where I work."

Noffsinger points out in his letter that employees have a particularly difficult time every summer when they’re forced to observe and promote LGBT month.

"The Home Depot presentation seeks to redefine morality, and therefore effectively defines religion for THD employees,” Noffsinger asserts.

The Home Depot worker argues that the company demands its employees to deny their Christian beliefs and pledge allegiance to its new LGBT-friendly belief system.

“It is self-evident that what LGBT people practice and promote is perverse,” Noffsinger proclaims. “It is denying God's order of creation, working against nature and human success."

Corporate values trump all

Regardless of the values and religious beliefs held by Home Depot employees and customers, the corporate team at the nation’s largest home improvement chain has zero tolerance for those who don’t agree with its worldview when it comes to homosexuality.

Radio talk show host and author Bob Enyart, the senior pastor of Denver Bible Church, also contributed to the open letter addressed to Home Depot.

"In the godless worldview of Home Depot, they withhold treating some employees with their claimed corporate values,” explains Enyartn who leads his congregation at in Arvada, Colo. “To this home improvement retailer, diversity, respect, and tolerance do not apply to Bible-believing Christian employees.”

According to the outspoken pro-life and pro-family advocated, Enyart, inclusion and equality is far from Home Depot’s policy — for those who adhere to moral absolutes, as outlined in the Bible, that is.

“Timothy is right that THD is 'preaching religion to its employees' and that 'Christians are ostracized by LGBT promotion,'" Enyart added in the letter.

Neffsinger sees himself as a defender of his faith by standing up to the political correctness and homosexual activism at Home Depot that has rendered all who aren’t in agreement with it as essentially wrong and bigoted.

"As a Christian, it is my God-given duty and pleasure to fight against evil by speaking the truth,” Neffsinger asserted. “And as far as Federal Law protects me as a citizen to be a Christian and live accordingly, I expect THD to honor that.

Neffsinger says that Home Depot’s pro-LGBT policy is far from promoting equality and love as it purports.

“[T]o have one's employer promote this evil … discriminates against Christian[s] and all well-meaning employees."

Only Satanists would believe that a male shoving his pee-pee up another male's poo-poo is worthy of adulation.

Those who demand “tolerance” of others are the most intolerant bigots. People used to keep their sex lives private, not parade them about and demand that evil is good and good is evil.

If you don’t like your job, quit. Otherwise shut up about it.

Allowing “gays” to be “out” at work creates a hostile work environment for Christians. Clearly, this is an attempt by the company to purge its workforce of right-thinking believers — or at the very least, to muzzle them.

No Christian should be forced to work with known perverts. If that was the case at my workplace, I’d feel compelled to quit.

That’s an odd response. Clearly he is prepared to quit, or be fired, else he wouldn’t have done this. Thus, this is a pretty gutsy stand on his part. Might awaken the HD suits to the fact that this feeling is probably shared by a LOT of associates.

Lowe’s is across the street from Homo Depot.
I don’t go to the HD for things that Lowe’s carries.

This takes courage.

The man is right.

I for one am tired of 2% of the population demanding the other 98% change their beliefs.

I’m not clear to what degree HD is doing this. I’ve been to those stores and never noticed any promotion along these lines. In fact, the only promotion I notice is the “No smoking” signs.

So is this author upset that they simply put a poster on the breakroom bulletin board or are they ordered to kiss someone of the same sex that month?

When do the pagans celebrate LBGTQU* month? That is the month all followers of Christ should stay out of Home Depot.

I believe he does like his job. It is the activism being forced upon him by his employer that he does not like. Nor should he. No employee should be forced to promote something that they are fundamentally opposed to. It is not the place of an employer to force politics upon their employees, quite illegal.

Looks like he's daring them to fire him. If my company has a policy I disapprove of then I would quit rather than put up with it. Though it sounds like what he's complaining about is pretty innocuous.

Might awaken the HD suits to the fact that this feeling is probably shared by a LOT of associates.

Assuming you're correct. Some people go through life looking for things to be pissed off about.

CVS has the same type of policy. The local CVS down the road here in Daytona Beach has a transgender man dressed as a woman who works the cash register. Freaky bastard called me “hon” and “sweetie” recently, and followed my mother around the store commenting about her blouse and her hair.

I was at a large upscale chain store a while back. There was a gay man working in the women’s clothes department. He was in and out of the dressing rooms as well as advising women on fashions. I told the clerk, “I cannot stand that. I don’t feel comfortable shopping in this department.” She said that many people were telling her that.

He was gone soon after.

From a purely purist perspective, correct.

However, using their own petard to hoist them by is appropriate and every opportunity to do so needs to be taken.

They promote that sham called “diversity” and “inclusion”...well then, it’s time they learn the true definition of it.

PC be damned...

He does have point though about asking executives how they would feel if one of the men showed up in lipstick and a dress. Could they carry on with the meeting without any question? I honestly don’t think they could. It’s a known leadership rule that you shouldn’t ask your subordinates to do anything you are not willing to do yourself. Anything less is a sign of poor leadership.

They do but you can at least write to them and complain. I did for some misandrous commercial a few years back and while they didn’t apologize they moved away from the egregious stupid male commercials.

I quit the Homo Depot when they proclaimed their allegiance to the bent-over sheet-biter coalition.

Kudos to this employee...or maybe former employee by now...

My company is in the middle of a big diversity campaign right now. There's mild pressure to participate, the department gets points for participation with the area with the most diversity points getting a plaque or something, but it's not overbearing and it doesn't count against me if I don't. And all hyperbole aside, I doubt that it's much different at Home Depot. I doubt that this guy is forced to do much of anything except to live with the fact that his company has an "LGBT Month". And that bothers him. Well, if it bothers him that much then quit. Go to another big-box store that doesn't observe it and he should be happy.
