Walker has repeatedly said he supports a path to citizenship for illegals. Thats pretty well documented.

In the past month, he has had a “Whitehouse Road” conversion, but he has in the past supported allowing illegals to stay and ultimately become citizens.

That conversion included hiring as his communication coordinator a gal who personally believes in amnesty and worked politically to get it advanced. He fired her because conservatives raised a red flag. But he also hired her AFTER his supposed conversion. Even if honest mistake it sows doubt about his sincerity and about his judgment.

I wish he wasn’t wrong on this because I’d rather only sing his praises. But I’m going to look at the entire person.

Yes, a “pathway to citizenship” can mean that they have to return to their home country and apply for citizenship like legal immigrants.

It’s not the same as saying that if you’re here illegally, you should be granted amnesty.

If we keep destroying decent candidates during the primary process, we’ll be left with Jeb. Just like we were left with Romney.
