The damage done to our once republic by a corrupted press is incalculable.

I remember John Roberts on CNN mornings (now with Fox in Atlanta) with his daily “factcheck/truthmeter/politifact” lie segments.

He was never on the side of any GOP/Republican/Conservative. All hits to anybody not Democrat.

I was amazed that Fox hired him. Nothing but lies comes out of his mouth.

Where’s the picture of the bear in the woods?

Seriously, this is no surprise. When I last watched the evening news 20 some years ago, every story out of Washington contained a subtle or not so subtle slam on Republicans, even if they weren’t conservative Republicans. I doubt things have gotten better.

Thanks for posting but I'm getting reall tired of Townhall. I rarely see them do any legwork to actually add to the discussion. First, there is nothing in this Townhall "article" that isn't already contained in the Washington Examiner article they are writing about. It's just an article about an article. The clearly didn't evn go and read the survey to find any actual data.

Second, even the Examiner article is lazy. "Overall, media reporting contained more frequently positive statements about the Democrats than the Republicans. Overall, the Republicans were more frequently the object of negative statements." 90% more often? 50% more often? 1% more often? Without that simple bit of data this article doesn't actually say anything.
