Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell on Sunday said he plans to hold up attorney general nominee Loretta Lynch's confirmation until the Senate passes a now-controversial human trafficking bill.
"This will have an impact on the timing of considering a new attorney general," McConnell told CNN's Dana Bash on "State of the Union." "I had hoped to turn to her next week, but if we can't finish the trafficking bill, she will be put off again."
Democrats are now holding up the trafficking bill, which glided through the judiciary committee, after they noticed an abortion provision embedded in the bill.

Shouldn’t that read “Lynch vote-——NO!” This is like asking which whip you want lashed with. Would you prefer the 8 foot whip or the 10 foot whip. We can only hope the idiots that have been (s)elected NOT confirm this evil person.
Never confirm her, ever, no matter what bill you tie her to,
it’s eye candy and bull crap. They could have made such a stand over voting on a stand alone defunding of amnesty, but they didn’t. They could take such a stand over so many things (like healthcare or Iran), but instead they take a bill and issue no one is even aware of and use that to make a stand.
Kabuki theater is all this is.
He should just stop at “No Lynch.”
Do that as many times as you can until the tactic clearly no longer works.
Then say you have no intention on holding a vote on Lynch.
Use her as a tool, with no intention of ever giving the Democrats anything in return. It's what they would do.
