They probably met! I don’t know about your daughter, but my son and DIL tend toward the liberal side of politics. So, we don’t discuss politics. Much. :-)
My daughter goes by “Tealin” or “Twirlynoodle” She is a very accomplished artist and incredibly bright, but sadly like your daughter and SIL, is left-leaning.
