First question that needs to be answered pronto is “who owns the server” Was is bought with taxpayer dollars for Bills presidential office as Hillary seemed to say? If so, that server is NOT her personal property. The government has a right to their own property. Hillary needs to be forced to prove that server is her own personal property.

Gowdy can try to get evidence on the record. That is ALL he is charged to do. Gowdy is not the door kicker department.

This will not be resolved under this administration, and Gowdy has known this fact since the beginning, unless this administration should come to want it resolved.

I disagree with McCarthy that this committee investigation can not be run like a normal case for prosecution.

Who the heck is interested in reams of video showing the committee pontificating endlessly on their speculations, without one shred of hard evidence in front of them? THAT would hurt the Republicans and get them the “witch hunt” label firmly adhered to their forehead.

Even baking a cake demands following a procedure that is understandable. Some here can be entertained with noise and style, over substance. Thankfully Gowdy has no intention of becoming an empty handed entertainer.

Given the title, the point of the title, and the info in the article (ie., if you read it ), then there is very little “bite” that can come from Gowdy and his committee.

I not giving the class but replied based on the article, as one observer.

My theory is that based on what Gowdy has suggested himself on talk shows last night, he is interested in spreading around the battle. He suggested that some other committee may want to subpoena the server.

I believe that is a smart strategy, it divides the work and spreads around the targets for the Hillary, Inc. crowd. He subpoenas Hillary (twice, reportedly) and another committee can subpoena the server. This helps expedite evidence gathering, shares the work load and enlarges the investigation.

Chances are slim to none that a Special Prosecutor can be appointed because that appointment is made by the Justice Department, under Eric Holder. Obama has not, and is unlikely to signal a go-ahead on that one.

Credit is due to Gowdy for avoiding a committee charade, when he has been denied a case to be made, and all of the hard evidence necessary to nail down the circumstantial evidence he already has that leads straight to the Mafioso of Hillary Clinton. Gowdy is not risking his reputation on circumstantial evidence, no matter how noisy the balcony becomes.

I read the piece. My focus is on Gowdy. IMO he is all noise. He kisses up to Boehner. I was a big fan of his and very impressed at first. No longer.
