NBC is once again under fire from Iraq War veterans this time for a correspondents claims that sniper Chris Kyle was racist.
More than 20 retired generals and admirals penned a letter to Comcast, which owns NBC, following a Jan. 29 interview on MSNBCs Morning Joe with Middle East reporter Ayman Mohyeldin, according to a report in the Washington Examiner.
Some of what people have described as his racist tendencies towards Iraqis and Muslims when he was going on some of these, you know, killing sprees in Iraq on assignment, Mohyeldin said of Kyle, whose career was recently the subject of the blockbuster movie American Sniper.
Host Joe Scarborough was taken aback by his colleagues comments, saying, All right, when we come back, Ayman is going to kick around Santa Claus.
The letter, which the Washington Examiner said was sent out Tuesday, demands an on-air apology from Mohyeldin.

Where were THEY when obama minions took over the CIA, FBI, IRS, NSA, the Justice Department, secret service and all military security?...
AWOL?... asleep?... stuck on stupid?.. IDIOTS?..
-OR- COMPLICIT?
The same leftists who ridiculed Sen Joe McCarthy for finding a “red under every bed” amazingly find racism anywhere and everywhere. I watched the Daytona 500. We plan to go up to NY later this year. Maybe we’ll check out the Summernationals at Raceway Park in Englishtown, or tailgate it at the Orange Cty Fair speedway. HEY, guess what? I’m a RACE-ist!
Racist? Iraqis are caucasian, and muslim is not a race.
This is pretty simple. This incident happened just as "American Sniper" was really taking off, and it seems clear that NBC was taking advantage of this 'interview' to, once again, trash the American soldier. Especially an American soldier that distinguished himself in "Bush's War". This has been done with varying effectiveness since "Full Metal Jacket", and has been a theme of the "News Business" since Vietnam. Portray any effective American soldier as a crazed killer, looking to "eat dead burnt bodies", as Arlo sang it.
This segment on Morning Joe was just a continuation of that thought. That it was completely without foundation was not a thought that crossed their minds. They didn't try to talk to anyone that actually knew Cris Kyle. No. They had their agenda and they ran with it. That's how it works in modern media, and any apology, written or on-air will be sandwiched between a commercial and a segment that people really want to see. If you were not looking for it, it will be very forgettable. If you took a poll of the viewers before and after the apology, you will find very little difference in the predominant opinion that Cris Kyle was a racist killer.
Mission accomplished.
Oops. Cris is spelled Chris. Sorry.
Too bad that vest does not have a target logo on it.
Racists are the first ones likely to call someone else racist.
Luckily fewer people watch MSNBC than are reading this thread. :’)
I love it when the mask slips and we see who these people really are..
When they call white guys racist, they don’t actually mean “bigoted” they mean “all white men should be exterminated”.
How do you spell “scum”?
MSNBC
Every VETERAN in this country needs to write and/or call NBC and demand such an apology. Overwhelm the bastards until the kneel.
Let’s condemn the filthy democrats who insulted all of us...
