Working class gives up on Obama and his policies, creating opening for GOP -- Poll
Investor's Business Daily ^ | 03/10/2015 | John Merline

In what could be a significant opening for the Republican Party, working-class Americans have largely abandoned President Obama and rejected his economic policies as they continue to suffer from the historically weak economic recovery, a new analysis of IBD/TIPP Poll data finds.

Liberals have NEVER been the champions of the working class they'd have you believe they are. When taxes get raised to support worthless entitlement programs for deadbeats, who pays? When taxes drive businesses overseas and workers get laid off, who pays? When illegals flood the country and steal work from Americans, who pays?

It's ridiculous for anyone in the working class, except union goons and socialists (but I repeat myself), to support Democrats.

It would appear that that fact is starting to dawn on people ...

How about the millions of ordinary, hardworking taxpayers filing their income taxes right now? Seeing refunds disappear, while 1/2 the country is on welfare and food stamps. I’m sure most of these people are against Obama.

Then they shouldn’t be allowed to vote. Nothing personal, but if you can’t function as an adult and contribute, then you shouldn’t be permitted to vote. And former convicts shouldn’t be allowed to vote until they’ve reimbursed the rest of us for the cost of their incarceration.

...creating opening for GOP

In the interest of accuracy, let me finish that headline: ...creating opening for GOP to fumble away yet another opportunity.

The only real question is how they will fumble away the opportunity.

Another reason Obama is replacing working class Americans with illegal aliens as fast as possible.

——Just 36% approve ——

That is always the number, it is core Al Qaeda. That is the same number as the lowest possible presidential approval number overall.

There is a hardened ideological core of 36% that will never disapprove of anything the moonbats do or dream up

I too favor a System where only actual citizen taxpayers or veterans are allowed to vote. Unfortunately, there will have to be another American Revolution for that to happen.

This is why getting those illegals in and signed up is so critical.

The working class is waking up to the reality that the dhimmi party no longer cares about them, except to extort all the $$$ they can.

Unfortunately, the working class isn’t getting much better treatment from Republicans. I cannot believe there are some Republicans still so tone deaf as to think immigration amnesty is popular. I bet it’s opposed by something on the order of 80% of their own constituents. Democrats aren’t any better of course. Who represents us ordinary American citizens? I don’t know!

White, private-sector, working class people increasingly see the Democrats as being against their interests.

Democrats want to flood the country with low-skill immigrants, who will compete with working class whites.

Democrats champion affirmative action, which disproportionately affects low-wage whites.

Working class whites see themselves as having to sacrifice to get their kids into college, and see blacks getting a disproportionate share of the financial aid, and illegal immigrants competing with their kids for the admission slots (and getting financial aid).

Oh, yeah, I see the white working class walking away from the Dems.

Don't bother the GOP, they're to busy courting the illegals/invaders and their corporate sponsors.

As Kurt Schlichter opined ....."let's understand that our real goal is to destroy everything Obama stands for – his lies, elitism, the quasi-fascist dream of controlling every aspect of other people’s lives. This is the time to strike. Our enemies are on the run.....the military knows that you defeat the enemy in detail during a rout. Let's hunt them down. Let's finish off progressivism. And let's do it by not being stupid......."

I'll drink to that.

I too favor a System where only actual citizen taxpayers or veterans are allowed to vote.

A quote attributed to Scottish historian Alexander Tytler:

"A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the majority discovers it can vote itself largess out of the public treasury."

Your sensible suggestion would pretty much solve the problem described by Tytler. But your suggestion would offend the welfare queens and their advocates. Plus it would cause the MSM talking heads to weep uncontrollably. So unfortunately it ain't gonna happen, at least until America finally breaks apart.

Would that we could have this generation's Reagan Revolution.

Along with a candidate who could/would be the next Reagan.

Republicans should be hammering the issue of taxes on the middle class. Point out to them the liberal lies about taxing the rich. There aren’t enough ‘rich’ people to tax to pay for their welfare schemes. The rich can shift their earnings to places that can’t be taxed.

The middle class gets stuck picking up the tab for all the lazy leeches the Dems depend on for votes, not the rich.

The rich aren’t effected by the millions of illegals flooding the border, they never see them unless they mow their yard.

Those illegals aren’t taking CEO jobs, and they aren’t displacing doctors and lawyers. The illegals are displacing middle class construction workers and meatpackers. Less than 10% of illegals work on farms.

The middle class is ripe for a change to voting Republican if the party would start selling the facts to them.

The Democrat party has nothing to sell but welfare, higher taxes, illegals, queer marriage, and gun control. Stop by any construction site and ask them if that is what they want.
