Jebbie’s support isn’t “melting away like hot wax” ; it’s melting away like the Wicked Witch of the West after Dorothy doused her.

Post 32 and 38 are pretty good summaries, but I have also warned people in both the Walker and Cruz camps to avoid a circular firing squad. Jeb is the one we need to take out. I'm on record as loving a Cruz/Walker or Walker/Cruz ticket. Post 38 gives the main (but not only) reason for my preference:

The surprising thing about the money vote with Walker vs. Bush, is it’s the millionaires vs. the billionaires.
To: Cincinatus' Wife
Unless it isn’t. Really trying to figure it out now is silly. During the debate cycle last time almost everybody had the lead for at least 5 minutes.

Since the TV era we've never elected a fat and ugly President, Jeb or Christie would be the first. Jeb's double-chin is bigger than some Democratic deficits!

Walker over Jeb any day of the week. Jeb is awful, could never vote for him in the general.

Yep me too.
It is vital to the survival of the Republic that we elect a President who will uphold the rule of law because this one won’t.
We either stop the invasion or we lose our country.

-As for Jeb...no. Just no. I voted for George W. twice, and would unquestionably do so again, given the alternatives (Gore, Kerry). I also swallowed my pride in 2012 and voted for Romney, settling for half a loaf because I knew what four more years of Obama would bring us. But I will not support Jeb Bush. No more political dynasties, and no votes for a nominee who will surely perpetuate the same establishment, spineless Republicanism that dumps on conservatism and caves to the left every time there is a challenge.I think if Jeb wins the Republican nomination we will see the destruction of the Republican party. Without someone who conservatives see as one of their own, they will leave as the national leadership has demonstrated they do not want us.

I know it doesn’t add much to the discussion, but Jeb Bush is a maggot.

Does Lisa Schiffren being a "native New Yorker" make her opinions more valuable?
The last "native New Yorker" not named Roosevelt to be elected President was Martin van Buren. Obviously a reservoir brimming with Presidential talent. That is despite the fact that from the 1810s to the 1960s New York was the most populous state.
