exactly right. walker has all the marks of a true statesman. my def’n of a statesman: that’s a conservative politician or leader who uses every instrumentality at his disposal (including tactical compromise) to get the job done, within the moral, economic and political constraints set by the situation, all the while keeping the leftist wolf at bay. i hope i’m right because we are desperately in need of a statesman at this juncture in American history. and yes, he knows exactly what his legislature is doing at all times, and he has an excellent lt. gov. working for him as well.
