What Netanyahu exposed was the gutless coward RINOs in Congress who will do nothing to stop Traitorobama. These RINOs thus join Traitorobama in his treason.

“Just as Hitler’s National Socialists were profoundly evil, so is the brand of Islam ...”

The “brand” of islam. How does this “brand” of islam differ from the “brand” practiced by the “prophet”.

Given that the “prophet” was a murderous butcher there is only ONE brand of islam

That is another reason why the Dims were so incensed about Bibi coming to talk - they knew that, no matter how they spin it, they are exposed as the charlatans they are.

I too caught the “brand” reference. I suspect the author carefully chose that word so his writing would reach the widest possible audience. A significant number of people accept the premise that there are good Muslims and “radical” Muslims. It’s hard for them to see the little old ladies covered in head scarfs as threats. If the author had tarred all Muslims as part of the “brand” then that percentage would stop reading and move on. Those who see Islam for what it manifestly claims to be will read past the “brand” reference for the wider message. Those who don’t will at least read the entire message and may, with time, come to believe what Islam itself claims. But first, their eyes must be opened.

I had a low level “good” Muslim in a company where I worked explain with glee what would happen when their time came. Among other things, we’d all pay taxes to good Muslims. My mother always said, “People will tell you what they’re going to do to you. It’s important that when the do you believe them.” That’s why went BHO said he was going to fundamentally transform America, I went cold inside.

He didn’t say “this” brand of islam, he said the “brand” of islam.

brand: a mark that is burned into the skin of an animal (such as a cow) to show who owns the animal

This is a really excellent essay, thanks for posting it.

I too believe Bibi came to announce war. It seemed very clear to me. He said Israel will fight to defend its existence, he identified Iran as the threat, and he asked the US not to give his enemy the means to make the bomb because it WOULD be used against Israel and, eventually, the US.

This is about as nakedly honest as politics can get - and that makes the honesty itself a message. It means “last chance.”

How would it have sounded to the community of nations in the 1940’s if America had suggested that we let the Nazis have the atomic bomb and hope that they’d be good enough not to use it? How would history be different today?

State sponsored terrorism is a different beast than 'fly by the seat of your pants' terrorism. Bin Laden and ISIS go for high profile 'Look At Me' targets. Iran will hit strategically - military and political targets... not the Statue of Liberty or Disney World.

If we had been this stupid in the run up to World War II we'd all be speaking German today.

Bump. When they were in the minority, their powerlessness cossetted the RiNOs' propensity for gutless slurping of easy K Street dollars, and their "protection" (tax-break) racket was Easy Street in a city run by 'Rats and Reds like Nancy Pelosi. Their comfy zone was intact.

Now the Republicans have power, and the RiNOs are being exposed. Netanyahu passed over this point (no pun intended), but his quoting Moses put a finger on the RiNO inner corruption and moral rot.

Iran will hit strategically - military and political targets... not the Statue of Liberty or Disney World.

Look up and acquaint yourself, if you haven't already, with the concepts of Gen 3 and Gen 4 War.

OBL was prosecuting the former, and he was running an earlier phase of what he and his fellow Salafist-Sunni cadres hoped would be Round 2 of the big showdown with the West (the defeat of the Soviets being Round 1). Therefore objectives and techniques were different from what IMHO AQ and ISIS are doing now.

Out in the desert, AQIM and Boko Haram are doing Gen 2 and Gen 3 operations, and they're promoting Gen 3/4 terrorism in the West (Fort Hood would be an example of a Gen 4 operation : Guy comes out of nowhere, bellows Allahuh-Akbar, and opens up on innocent people, as in the Kenyan shopping mall).

The Iranians are a couple of generations behind, it seems, and are still all about mass action and massive military formations fighting it out in an organized way, as if the clock had stopped in 1980. For them it's SOSDD. Except that they want to bring atomic weapons to the party and threaten America with ICBM's or IRBM's (we haven't heard about their reported Venezuelan arrangement for a while).

The only real justification for a war in Iraq is if the US intended to dispense with the 'axis of evil' in its entirety, from Baghdad, to Tehran, to Pyongyang and not necessarily in that order. If I had my druthers there would have been a brief stop in Islamabad to pick up their nuclear arsenal along the way.

Otherwise we'd have been better off sitting tight to let Saddam worry about the Mullahs while focusing upon clearing out the enemy within, which we needed to do in either case.

Bush thought if an Arab country was freed from its tyrant ruler that its people would embrace freedom. And that it would be contagious and spread throughout the Middle East. He just forgot one thing - they’re Muslims. They don’t seemed to value freedom or self rule much.
