Dr. Suzanne Barakat was writing a prescription for one of her patients at San Francisco General Hospital when her phone lit up with text messages from friends sending condolences.
It was Feb. 10 and Barakat, 27, was in her first year of family medicine residency. She ignored the first text, thinking it was either a mistake or a reference to family members in war-torn Syria.
I just put my head back to work, she said. But then Barakat noticed that one of the texts mentioned her 23-year-old brother, Deah Barakat, a dental student at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.
At that point, she recalled in an interview this week, she still didnt know Deah had been slain gunned down, along with his wife and her sister, in a shocking burst of violence that would touch off a nationwide discussion over how Muslims are treated in America.

It’s hard for me to feel sorry for Deah Barakat, the brother, who apparently was very much supportive of violent Muslim jihad.
touch off a nationwide discussion over how Muslims are treated in America.
Gee, and here I thought we weren’t supposed to stereotype or generalize or “blame a group for the actions of a few”
What gives?
So what?
Round up the MSM, pop them into a time machine, and they would be sitting around in Rome in the early 5th century obsessing on not offending the self-esteem of the Huns.
Reminds me. I’ve got to get a new air filter for the lawn mower.
Boo-fricking-hoo.
Seriously, who cares about prejudicial attitudes towards these people or even their deaths? Islam is a cult of death. It exists, and its main tenet, is to take over the world by killing those in its way. It cannot co-exist with Liberty and Freedom, or for that matter prosperity. It must be eliminated like the Nazi scourge of the 20th century. It is very simple, we kill them, or they kill us.
Rights are reciprocal. Muslims have no rights because they recognize no rights.
ISIS engages in the same activities that the scumbag so-called prophet Mohammed engaged in and demanded of his followers.
And its true that not all majority-Muslim countries are quite so violent as ISIS. Still, there is no Muslim-majority country that recognizes basic human rights, particularly the rights of women.
When they start allowing Catholic churches and Jewish synagogues to be built in Mecca, and when they allow the establishment of restaurants that sell southern American barbecue, Ill be willing to consider whether Muslims have rights.
Until then, forget it. If they want their rights recognized, the first thing they need to do is to renounce Islam and stop being Muslims.
Deah had been active serving the community, handing out dental supplies and food to the homeless in Durham, N.C. He had been planning to travel to Turkey to help care for Syrian refugees.....In the words of Tommy Chong, “Uhhhh, YAAAw.”
Dr. Suzanne if that is your name.
1. There was no national conversation, well there is but it’s in secret and its not going the way you think.
2. You should call the family of the woman in Oklahoma who had her head chopped off at work. You can commiserate on your shared American experience.
3. You should honor your Palestinian loving brother by taking your skills to Syria the way he wanted to. But you won’t,Will you. You’ll stay here join cair and criticize us. Ingrate.
Next time remember there are other parking places.
Every man in orange in this picture is in paradise with Jesus. Every man in black will burn in hell for ever.

Where is THIS in the Constitution. You can’t just make stuff up.
They haven’t seen anti-muslim hostility yet.
When we commence playing cowboys and muslims there will be no mistaking it.
I’m tired of the anti Western Civ drivel from the muzzies.
My care meter for them is...well not really registering.
Muslims are locusts that will devour the host ever so slowly, using the hosts own laws against him.
Anybody ever mention the Anti-Christian hostility in Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan?
Guess that doesn’t count.
