The mascot should be an Ostrich with its head stuck in a hole in the sand.

here are a lot of Republicans who will vote for anyone with an “R” beside his name, no matter what he does on the theory that he’s better than the Democrat. There is a lot of merit to that thinking and I have argued for it myself on many occasions, but we’ve gotten to the point where Republicans in D.C. are taking advantage of it to such a ridiculous degree that it should no longer apply.

The Great One is off the reservation.

Uniparty ping!

Thank You for the heads up Colonel_Flagg!

Do not mistake ineptitude for Complicity.

You said...
“They need to use the whore as their new symbol.”

I’m afraid they’ll be flattered with that symbol

The symbol should be a well-dressed waiter, with a white napkin folded over one sleeve, the other hand offering up a drink on a small tray, serving it up from a position of down on bended knee.

The listing FREE stamp in Cleveland, OH. Will the RINO's turn it completely upside down?

We need to change the symbol of the Republican Party from the elephant to reflect its status as the Stupid Party. I nominate John Boehner and Mitch McConnell (a twofer!) as its symbols. Slogan: Join the Stupid Party (same as the old Republican GOP).

Change needs to wrought at the state level by electing conservatives to governorships and legislatures who will deliver a resounding response of Foxtrot Uniform to the edicts coming out of DC.

The message needs to be crystal clear—Re-establish Federalism, or the deal’s off.

A bubbling cauldron of tar and a couple of torn feather pillows need to be the symbols of this movement—A teabag is too refined for the weasels that inhabit DC.

We need to stay in the party until after 2016 - then we need to form our own party.

“...Reps want to keep their jobs...”

If the tax code were held to the requirements of the government according to what was enumerated in the Constitution, there would be no desperate hanging on to a position in government that controlled torrents of money coming in without any limits.

(There is a method to the madness of subsidies for this and that, entitlements for them and those, ad nauseum.)

IMHO

Replace the Elephant with a RINO so they could be accurate.

The author is wrong. This has nothing to do with cowardice. This is scripted capitulation. The corruption is baked in the cake.

“Question: Are Republicans afraid of the psychotic, adolescent, Progressive Democrats in Congress? (And Why?) Just asking.”

No. They’re not afraid of them. They’re in active collaboration with them. The theatrics are for public consumption.

[Art.] .... “Ha, where else are they going to go?”

That's almost exactly what Mitt Romney said about Texas Republicans, who could have swung the nomination momentum away from Romney if not for a faithless and frankly abusive Democrat lawsuit that deliberately delayed Texas's primary until the nomination was all locked up (this way, the 'Rats guaranteed that Milquetoast Mitt would be their opponent.... Just the Milquetoast they wanted their weakened Brass God to run against), when one of Mittens's staffers asked him why he wasn' t even making appearances in Texas.

Sneered Mitt, "They'll come to me when I'm the last man standing."

Going by what Howell Raines said, that the Obamacare deal was sealed in 2008 before the election, I would venture that the immigration deal is at least as old and probably goes back to Bush 43. Maybe all the way to 41, as part of a NWO/NAU ploy that foresaw that We the People of the United States would be the sticky wicket in our own screwing and enslavement.

You're exactly right, this is a crow pie called for years ago.
