A 32-year-old black man was sitting in his car, cooling off after playing basketball in a public park in the city of Ferguson, Mo. Then a police officer pulled up.
The officer approached him and demanded his identification. He then accused the man of being a pedophile, since there were children in the park, and ordered him out of his car. When the man objected, the officer arrested him and charged him with eight violations of Ferguson’s municipal code, including a charge for not wearing a seatbelt, even though he was in a parked car.

They had to go back to 2012 for this. Try as he might, racist Holder could find nothing on Officer Wilson or George Zimmerman. Of course he couldn’t exonerate them, or say that their testimony fit all the evidence. Instead he had to talk about the “high bar”, not providing any evidence of racism justifiable actions by the victims of these criminal thugs.
Ferguson becomes the scalp on his belt. In five years Ferguson will likely have a population and police force that is over 80% African-American. Maybe that big, evil Emerson Corporation will leave Ferguson alone, too.
Won’t Ferguson be a better place without those police enforcing all those laws in black neighborhoods?
Speaking of the "thought police", do you support the NY Time's title saying "discrimination"?
For example start with the basketball player example. How does Holder know that it's discrimination?
Makes me appreciate speed cams and red light cams that we have here.
Sounds like the residents spend too much time committing crimes and not enough time working to pay taxes like we do here.
I don't hear the Indian immigrants here whining about police and they tend to have brown skin, but also have jobs or businesses.

I read an article somewhere that the surrounding cities were far worse but we are only seeing Ferguson because it has a white mayor and the other places have black mayors.
What information do you have to the contrary?
Only if they drop the no felony conviction qualification that most police departments have.
But the in-Justice Department is probably pushing that o Ferguson already.

While I am no fan of “black misbehavior,” this stuff, if true, only serves to inflame the perception of racism in the “black community.” The sad part of it is that it happens all over the country in city after city and town after town, where the local governments will do anything to keep the bucks coming in. The other thing that needs to be stopped cold in it’s tracks, is the “civil forfeiture game.” Take someone’s property with out due process and then make them jump through all sorts of legal hoops to get it back. Then there’s all this divvying up all the “forfeiture spoils” between various LE agencies.

It doesn’t just happen to blacks but this administration want to stop it ONLY for blacks, LBGTQ, Muslims, etc.
I don't know about worse but Ferguson is hardly unique in getting a significant percentage of its revenue through police tickets and fines. And it doesn't surprise me that Ferguson targeted blacks. In addition to making up most of the population they're the demographic least likely to be able to afford a lawyer to fight it in court.
Excepting the shooting in this particular town which seems justified:

I’ve never seen them care one bit about actual bad guys, even when served up on a silver platter.
Yeah. In a lot of ways we’re kinda like the old USSR. We just don’t see it here because, well, gosh darn it, we’re the good guys.
But they have black mayors so that’s OK.
