Politico reported that Chris Christie felt he exceeded expectations at the 2015 Conservative Political Action Committee (CPAC) convention.

The only problem is that Christie is trending in the wrong direction with the GOP’s conservative base. Christie finished in 4th place with 8% in 2014, according to The Washington Times, which plummeted to a dismal 10th place finish with only 2.8%.

The GOP needs to stop with all of the retread candidates. Someone like Christie might have won in 2012 but his boorish antics have worn thin.

He won't be able to win his own home state if he ran for president.

I’ll only vote for Christie if he stops eating donuts.

LOL.

You don’t think all those Cowboy fans will power him to victory?

Gov. Christie and Jeb Bush are going to both come to terms that the 2016 race will not be happening for either of them.
When it sinks in that Christie faces a very steep uphill battle just to get GOP support, let alone Democrat, he will drop out.

When the Weight Comes Marching (back) In, you will know Christie has accepted his fate and moved on.
When Jeb goes Full-On Nerd, and gives campaign interviews while wearing his Google-Glass and rhapsodizing about the wonders of “Printed Foodstuffs”, you will know he too, has accepted his fate and moved on.

Christie isn’t thinking rationally. He’s got visions of sugar plum fairies from the WH kitchen dancing around in his mind.

Taft was the last man of Cristie’s caliber to win the White House.

He would make an excellent life insurance policy for the next Republican president — much like “Demented Joe” Biden is for Obama.

Christie needs to shove his fat head back up his fat ass so we don’t hear anything else from him. Jeb Bush needs to do the same.

I’d take Christie over mealy-mouthed milquetoast Bush.

He may just like getting out of Jersey for a while.

Politicians love the attention they get when it looks like they're running for something so much that they encourage speculation about things they don't intend to actually do.
