Last night, an Austin, TX TV reported another sad story about a Mexican woman who has been here illegally for 20 years and has had three children here. She was lamenting that the judge’s stay was delaying her application to stay here as a parent of US children.
The interview was in SPANISH, with voice-over translation. Could anyone live in the USA 20 years and not learn English if their children were speaking it at home? I smell fraud.
I believe she was here 20 years and didn’t bother to assimilate anything - except her butt into our entitlement system. And she didn’t need to habla English to do that. We have translators and bilingual entitlement giveaway government employees now.
