Central High School In FLint Michigan was not a particularly Spiritual Context...but....God had not been BANISHED from the “campus” as yet.
I played an after prom party at the biggest hotel in the city with the band I mentioned...when I was 17 or 18.. It was pretty boring after about an hour but there was no ill will to be found anywhere in the ballroom.
Speaking more of modern times. Obama and his followers have really poisoned the water. They have made race relations worse.
I remember in late 2012 a Baptist congregation out in a redneck region of Maryland that was half white, half black. It helped that there was a Haitian theological school in collaboration with them, but there were both foreign and local black people.
