Carter is a true believer in Christianity, more so than any of the others in my lifetime. Since being in office, he has dedicated his life to charity, rather than focusing solely on accruing wealth.
This doesn’t mean he was a good or effective politician, but in my mind, he seemed like the most honest man who has held that office. The fact that I disagree with him on policies is a different issue.
I don’t agree he is more Christian than others. He’s done charity work. Habitat gets a lot of other peoples’ money from government and donors and a lot of people giving their own time.
He lacks a certain discernment though. He really cannot see a true enemy before him.
He is an anti-Semite of the highest order and he is the reason North Korea has the bomb. He may have some sort of personal faith, but ultimately, leftism outweighs all else.
