If not for Palin, McLame’s money would have run out and he’d have gotten beat by 10 points. Instead, a few weeks out he was ahead in the polls and BLEW IT “suspending” his campaign to “head back to DC to solve our 2008 economic crises” and looked like an insider fool doing it. (I know, repetitive)
You are right. McCain blew it by everything else he did (including being an Obama bootlicker), but not for choosing Palin. That was the single smart move he made, which he immediately cancelled out by clamping a lid on Palin’s ability to speak to whom she wanted about what she wanted to speak about.
McCain is the biggest buffoon in American politics.
