I agree. Rah rah USA isn’t QUITE the same as rah rah God.
It goes to the founding of the republic, where the founding fathers wanted to be crystal clear that our constitution was not dictated by heaven: it was made by men so it could be changed by men, without offending heaven.
But, at the same time, the rights enumerated in the constitution were *not* written by men, and needed no document to be in force, and could also not be changed by men.
