Kansas could be the first state to outlaw a certain type of abortion commonly used during the second trimester of pregnancy.
A bill banning what's known as the "Dilation and Evacuation" procedure, commonly known as partial birth abortion, passed Friday in the Kansas Senate.
The abortion method, which includes extracting the fetus in pieces, was described by lawmakers supporting the bill as "gruesome" and "barbaric."
Another state senator said it's "unimaginable that such a procedure could be used by a medical practicioner."
The measure is expected to pass in the Republican-controlled state House of Representatives then gain the signature of Gov. Sam Brownback, a strong abortion opponent.
Similar bans on this type of abortion are being considered in Missouri and Oklahoma.
The piece by piece dismemberment of a human being by the ‘civilized’ while we recoil in horror at ISIS beheadings is beyond hypocrisy all the way to total lack of conscience.
Mothers, with a conservative 1.33 Billion children killed just since 1980, make ISIS look like angels.
Mothers even make Mao, with 70+ million in 3 years, look pretty good.

Actually, that is a point. For as bad as we hate ISIS, abortion is a savage barbaric act as well.
If we were talking about anything other than another human being, the comparison with ISIS wouldn’t work, would it?
This from the state that produced Kathleen Sebilius and George Tiller? Hard to believe.
So, Mr. State Senator from Kansas....are you a lawyer? Do you have at least a basic understanding of how the left maneuvered and used the SCOTUS in the Roe decision to foist these very practices upon pregnant women and American society? Are you aware of the many judicial rulings throughout the decades since then that continue to maintain the practice of state supported abortion?
Do you recall the lock-step unrelenting pressure that the democrats and the left used against the Komen Foundation when they wanted to pull financial support from Planned Parenthood....to the extent that Komen publically cowed and backed down? Have you read the propaganda of the drive-by media that demonizes the right for their pro-life statements and positions?
In short, Mr. Senator, do you realize how the legal, legislative and judicial professions have contributed to and helped bring about and maintain these and similar other heinous infanticide procedures that always end up in the ending of at least one life? How about you recognize that when you point a finger at the medical profession about abortion, that three fingers are pointing back at past and present legislators, certain lawyers and judges.

D & E abortion is NOT the same as partial birth abortion even though they both result in a dead infant.

Dilation and Evacuation (D&E) for Abortion
Dilation and evacuation (D&E) is done in the second 12 weeks (second trimester) of pregnancy. It usually includes a combination of vacuum aspiration, dilation and curettage (D&C), and the use of surgical instruments (such as forceps).
An ultrasound is done before a D&E to determine the size of the uterus and the number of weeks of the pregnancy.
A device called a cervical (osmotic) dilator is often inserted in the cervix 24 hours before the procedure to help slowly open (dilate) the cervix. Dilating the cervix reduces the risk of any injury to the cervix during the procedure.
Misoprostol may also be given several hours before surgery. This medicine can help soften the cervix.
D&E usually takes 30 minutes. It is usually done in a hospital but does not require an overnight stay. It can also be done at a clinic where doctors are specially trained to perform abortion.

In a partial birth abortion, the baby is actually delivered feet first and in one piece. Feet, legs and body of the infant are born, but the head is left inside the birth canal so that they can puncture a hole at the base of the skull, and suck the baby’s brains out. Then the deliver the head. This baby is born ALIVE, all but the head comes out before they kill it.
