Arkansas Homeschool Children Still Being Held By County DHS without Charges or Reason
Freedom Outpost ^

Posted on 02/22/2015 7:25:45 PM PST by Mozilla

As I earlier reported, the Stanleys, of Garland County Arkansas, had their seven homeschoolers forcibly taken from their home. Though they were given several reasons, all unsubstantiated, for the Department of Human Services investigation no charges were filed. They originally were informed that they would have the children returned in 72 hours. It has been five weeks.

Christiannews.net reports

Last week, the Stanley's [sic] learned that a hearing scheduled over the matter has been postponed until March 23. Therefore, the children will remain in custody for at least another month until the hearing is held.

This means that the County has the Stanley's children. They have taken them and have given no reason. It seems that they do not feel they owe these parents a reason.

DHS claims that the children were forced to drink chlorine bleach. The courts believe the assertion.

My guess? Beating as discipline. It is not enough to take them just because they are homeschooling. But a lot of these “Christian” parents beat. Period.

How is this not illegal? How can the government, without stated cause, force their way into your home and kidnap your children[?]

Protip: Buy this for the front door:

If they come to the back door don't give 'em the benefit of the subtle warning at the front door.

Did they have photos of the damage done to the kids’ throats, if they were forced to drink chlorine bleach?

Did the kids agree that they had been forced to drink chlorine bleach?

Also, if that is what DHS claimed, then they should have filed a charge of child abuse and thrown the parents in jail. Did they?

It also sounds like they were put out without shoes in winter as discipline and there is some issue about some kind of food supplement the kids were given.

hearing scheduled over the matter has been postponed

Postponing is what happens when they don't have a case and they know they are in the wrong. It's their only power play so watch them postpone or come up with another lame excuse not to return the kids.

Why didn't you at least give the names of the parents, if not the names of the children. What is the case number?

Here's the information on that county if anyone wants to quiz the Administrator of that county Department of Human Services:

Of the children of Hal and Michelle Stanley:

Arkansas Takes Away 7 Homeschool Children because Father had Unapproved Mineral Supplement

A “miracle” mineral treatment alleged to be a remedy for cancer and aids is at the center of an law enforcement search warrant. The investigation ended in the removal of seven children from their home in Garland County.

The family has cried foul, saying only the father has taken it and it’s mostly used for purifying water for their garden. Hal and his wife Michelle were kept outside for hours while officers searched the home with their seven children inside.

They avoid most contact with the government. The parents have home schooled their nine children, two of which have graduated and gone on to college. The Stanley’s keep to themselves, are generally self-sustained and consider themselves “preppers”.

Hal added, “There’s never been any beer, liquor.” They say they’ve never had a run-in with the law before. “I’ve never had a speeding ticket.” The Stanley’s say since the night they had their children taken, friends and relatives have called and shown support.

As the children were removed from the home Hal and his wife Michelle say they emotionally asked who made the decision. Hal said, “And finally a young man from the Sheriff’s department raised his hand, ‘I did it and I’m proud of the decision’.”

Michelle worries about her children, “They’ve never been away from us in any kind of setting like that.”

The ruling (click here)

Judge Wade Naramore reportedly ruled today (Jan. 16, 2015) in Juvenile Court in Garland County, Arkansas that the Stanley Family children could not go home. No one is allowed to speak about what happened in the court room.

The CPS doesn’t need a reason to destroy innocent lives. It is all about power, ego and the destruction of political enemies.

It's over. I'm glad I'm old. If you have kids, get out while you can.

Some of the children are probably being sexually abused in the custody of the State.

It's how the gruberment rolls...

Kidnapping. Give them 20 years in a federal prison, and it will not happen again.
