Jeb "I Am My Own Man" Bush, declared today that he would shape his own foreign policy when he gave a speech in Chicago today. However, I'm not sure hiring almost everyone one of his father and brother's advisors is going to help him very much since they all have blood on their hands after the Iraq war debacle.

The latest Bush to consider a bid for the White House promised that his foreign policy would be shaped by “my own thinking and my own experiences.”

So Jeb is unelectable. With this alone they are going to bring back the BDS bull crap. This is a catastrophe that the GOP is advancing... notwithstanding this liberal site filled with people who rant against crooks in power and yet rant against conservatives, who confuse anti-government with anti-state, and who call any conservative an inbred while Salon.com and the homosexual agenda is now promoting incest and man boy love.

But Jeb just said he’s his own man and not a copy of his bro or daddy.

His mission which he has accepted,push all conservative out of the race by scaring them with deep pocket donations building a huge war chest. After being anointed the inevitable nominee fold to Hillary in the general by playing the I’m not going to campaign negatively Hillary would make a great President card! Should the voters do the unexpected and he wins he can be counted on to continue keep the gates open to massive third world immigration you know as an act of love,protect crony capitalism,and keep Obamacare because to repeal it would be to disruptive to the economy and the lives of the most venerable amongst us.

Jeb Bush awards Hillary Defender of Liberty Medal on eve of Benghazi anniversary

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) will honor former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton with this year’s Liberty Medal from the National Constitution Center.

The award will be presented to Clinton on September 10th, the eve of the first anniversary of the terrorist attack on the United States mission in Benghazi that killed four American.

The Christian Science Monitor reports that Bush, a potential GOP contender in the 2016 presidential race, is chairman of the board of trustees of the National Constitution Center located in Philadelphia.

“Former Secretary Clinton has dedicated her life to serving and engaging people across the world in democracy,” Bush said in a statement. “These efforts as a citizen, an activist, and a leader have earned Secretary Clinton this year’s Defender of Liberty Medal.”

==============================================

Bush’s decision to honor Clinton, who is considered by some to be a likely Democrat candidate for president in 2016, was condemned by the Independence Hall Tea Party Association of Philadelphia. According to the Christian Science Monitor, the organization released its own statement Monday, referring to the event as “extremely distressing,” and offering, instead, an opportunity for another Liberty Medal recipient.

According to the statement: As all of you undoubtedly know, much of the blame for the Obama Administration’s failure to contain the Benghazi attack and the scandalous handling of its aftermath, can be traced directly to Ms. Clinton.

Indeed, a Congressional investigation regarding Ms. Clinton’s role in the cover-up of the Administration’s failure is still ongoing.

=====================================================

A newly formed organization, the Independence Hall Foundation, will hold a “What Difference Does It Make” press conference on Independence Mall, September 10, 4 PM, to denounce the selection of Ms. Clinton as the 2013 Liberty Medal recipient and to offer an alternative award (details below). During the conference, the Foundation will name its choice of recipient(s) for the 2013 Defender of Liberty Medal. Dom Giordano will headline the presser and we certainly hope you will consider joining us. (SOURCE: BREITBART.COM 9/9/13)

"notwithstanding this liberal site"

Yes, Crooks and Liars is a liberal blog, but that is irrelevant, because they are discussing the Washington Post article published 2 days ago. They provide a link to the WaPo article, which you should read.

Crooks and Liars are not the only ones discussing the WaPo article. Many websites have discussed the WaPo article. If you do a Google search of "I am my own man" or "Jeb Bush vows to set his own course", you can find many, many articles discussing WaPo article. If you do a Google search of "I am my own man free republic", you will find the Free Republic thread when the WaPo article was posted here 2 days ago.

The key passage from the WaPo article that Crooks and Liars posts entirely is:

"They represent the full spectrum of views within the Republican foreign policy establishment--from relative moderates, including former secretaries of state George Schultz and James Baker, to staunch neoconservatives such as Iraq war Paul Wolfowitz."

When they use the term "relative moderates", they mean Realists who are political moderates. So, the two foreign policy groups in the GOP are Realists and NeoCons. There are also isolationists(like Rand Paul and Mike Lee) in the GOP but they have very, very little influence on a GOP prez. Isolationists never serve on a GOP prez's foreign policy team.

All GOP prez's foreign policy team will be made up Realists and NeoCons, but which group has the most influence on a GOP prez is the key question.

The NeoCon's dominated GW Bush's foreign policy, so everyone is trying to read the tea leaves to determine which group would control, Jeb's foreign policy.

I think he gets butchered after raising gargantuan money, perhaps driving a fatal and embarassing stake into the heart into the GOP. Don’t look to me to shed any tears. They made their bed they can lay in it. What’s amazing in its horribly sick way is how the same kind of people who figured out how to grift the Dem party machine on solar and wind have figured out how to grift the GOP out of campaign money for their alleged electoral expertise in order to produce a full-on guaranteed loser like Jeb Bush.
