Unbelievable.

Raising the cost of doing business is sure to improve the economy.

There is nothing too stupid for a Progressive leftist to believe.

That started decades ago... You have heard of welfare right? ;)

More job killing in the great state.. er not so great state of Minnesota.

I highly doubt this will go anywhere in the house.

“Advocates say that will improve worker morale and boost productivity”

I guess if everyone stays home, productivity by this standard would be off the chart?

The only reason employers don’t pay employees a million dollars an hour and give them permanent leave is because they want to keep their piles of money to themselves, don’t you know?

Guess it’s time for Wisconsin to welcome some new businesses from Minnesota. If that demodummie gets his proposed law passed, many companies, having to pay for half of that “paid leave” will be ripe for moving out of Minnesota. Who would blame them?

Advocates say that will improve worker morale and boost productivity.

I'd think that the happiest workers would be the least productive workers, not the other way around. It's called "work" for a reason.

What is “DFL?” By the story, I can guess what the “D” and the “F” stand for...

Having been a Supervisor / Manager for 25 years in a Manufacturing enviroment, in Cali no less. Here is how it works, employees have a network of shady Doctors whom will put them off work for a hang nail. In this case they will put a dependant off work necessitating time paid off for a relative care giver. How is that productive? For child birth i’m a bit more sympathetic.

6 weeks paid vacation every year for only $78, what a great deal. Why didn’t conservatives think of that?/sarc

Everyone has a sick relative that would be helped by 6 weeks out on the lake fishing, I know I do!

Advocates say that will improve worker morale and boost productivity.

Improve worker morale? Sure, if you mean the "worker" who isn't working. But for the rest, the poor slobs who have to pick up the load the deadbeat isn't pulling? Hardly.

Boost productivity? Only in the rarefied hallucinogenic world of the liberal could paying people to do nothing "boost productivity." If taking paid leave actually boosts productivity, then let's just furlough everybody and watch our GDP go through the roof.

To paraphrase Mark Twain, there are lies, damned lies, and liberals.

The “L” is for Losers. Your guess on the other two is probably right.
