Ibrahim Mohamed has worked at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport for almost 11 years.
Within that time, his jobs have ranged from cabinet-maker, to ticket-verifier to, currently, a cart driver.
"Absolutely, I do enjoy my job that's why I stay on it still," he said.
But now Mohamed faces a new and daunting challenge. He's been appointed by Governor Mark Dayton to the 14-member Metropolitan Airports Commission. He will be the only current airport employee.
Mohamed's appointment is also historic and has not gone unnoticed.
"His appointment is welcomed by the community but it also shows that it's long overdue," Jaylani Hussein, the executive director of CAIR Minnesota, said.
Mohamed said his goals within his new role are to help start a union and promote benefits for those making minimum wage.
Will his loyalty be to the Job or Islam ?
Ibrahim is a Somali MUSLIM. He cannot be a real American until he denounces that death cult. Figures that a libtard Minnesota governor would overlook that.
This would have been a pretty good SNL routine in 2002 or so — Who is the new appointee to run the airport? Why, Mohammad the cart driver, of course!

I’ll never forget the time I flew into Minneapolis-St. Paul in October 2011. 9-11 had happened three weeks earlier. I remember standing there taking off my shoes and belt, cleaning out my pockets, etc to pass through security while I watched about half a dozen Somali airport employees standing around not only not working but jabbering away in Arabic. And I thought to myself, “What’s wrong with this picture?”
Probably not 2011.
A long overdue 4 YEAR TERM.
Hopefully he doesn’t join isis after his term is finished as so many of his Minnesota muzzie brothers have done.
He’ll disappear long before his term is up.
I remember not too long after 911 that I took a flight to Minneapolis-St. Paul and there was about 8-10 muzzies on the flight.
