EU Ready to Strike Israel with Sanctions One Day After Elections

EU member states have been readying themselves to enforce sanctions on Israel for Jewish communities in Judea-Samaria, diplomats revealed Tuesday—and will strike hours after the March 17 elections.

Israeli officials in recent weeks met with Europe’s most important foreign ministries at the EU headquarters in Brussels, an Israeli official told Walla! News on condition of anonymity, and said that the planned measures in Europe will be focused on “the illegality of the settlements under international law”—without any distinction between “settlement blocs” generally agreed upon to remain in Israel and isolated communities.

“The guiding principle is their deepening and emphasizing the absolute difference they make between Israel within the Green Line and Israel beyond the Green Line,” the official said, referring to the 1949 Armistice lines. “They talk about sanctions against companies that do business across the border, to support legal action of the Palestinians over the settlements and the renewal of the proposal for the establishment of a Palestinian state through the UN Security Council. The assumption is in Europe that a right-wing government will be elected in Israel, and thus it would be easier to promote these measures” against it, the official added. …

A senior European diplomat assured Walla! that "no new steps will be revealed before elections in Israel" and that EU countries have been "very careful not to intervene."

Very careful not to intervene? Ha! That is exactly what they're trying to do....intervene/influence the upcoming elections. EU and 0bola...two peas in a pod.

There was a recent article detailing how the EU is actually building their own illegal settlements in Israel, ostensibly for the benefit of the so-called “Palestinians”—in Area C no less, which was deemed to be all Israeli territory per the Oslo Accords. I suspect that the EU regards it as its own territory, and it certainly begs the question as to why there were overtures in the past towards Israel in an attempt to get the Jewish state to join the EU.

Some business' in Judea and Samaria will find non-European customers, it's a big world. Others, like Sodastream, may simply move their plants to Israel and employ Israelis rather than palestinians

And all these years since 1945, we thought the Euro trash had gotten over their love affair with the Nazis in Germany? Not so. Nazism lives and breathes in Brussels and the governing elites of the EU. All those years America spent saving their antisemitic butts from the Russians were wasted. I don’t see how anyone could have thought that, especially since de-Nazification was just (not so) surreptitiously handed over to Adenauer in 1947 without explanation or even reason. (He declared it “over” in 1950; not completed, but “over”.)

The Euro elites brought those Muslims in to create another crisis, one intended to induce calls for a strongman leader. There is already a backlash in the works, albeit starting slowly with bans on burkas and progressing to attacks on circumcision and halal/shechita slaughter (note the almost-parallel rituals between both Jews and Muslims in the two latter cases).
