It took Cuomo a long time to comment on this. No doubt his lawyers have been "huddling" for weeks to come up with a strategy.
And BTW. A low life rep punk doing sexual perversions is a little different that a long term Speaker defrauding taxpayers.

I reject the entire premise of this.
In 2006. During the Mark Foley male congressional page scandal, Nancy P. Charged that then speaker Dennis Hastert did not supervise his GOP colleagues, and that there was a culture of corruption in the GOP.
So to the contrary, Mr. Cuomo, if Dennis Hastert was to blame for not knowing about Mark Foley And sexual situations with male pages, then YOU are responsible for not keeping tabs on Sheldon Silver. Using Nancy Pelosi criteria, YOU are accountable.

Governor Cuomo IS far more responsible for the excesses of Sheldon Silver than he is about to admit, first for lack of oversight, then for failing to come out with a strongly worded and revealing statement about the breadth and intensity of the developing scandal, which also includes that other New York phony, Bill De Blasio, definitely a total waste of human protoplasm.

I think the FEDs are looking into the possibility of Silver and Cuomo taking funds from the realtors of NYC.
It seems that rent subsidy's (dating back to the '60s) are the motivator for political favoritism, and tax relief .
The fact that Cuomo ended the Moreland (ethics)Commission looking into fund raiseing got terminated as they drew closer to Cuomo's contributors, looks bad for the machine.
Pray that Cuomo is forced to step down .
