The parents of a 26-year-old American who has been held hostage for more than a year by Islamic State extremists were clinging to hope Sunday that their daughter is alive, having yet to receive information confirming otherwise.

If she’s that pretty and held for that long, perhaps they should be hoping for the opposite.
How come this has not been headline news in the American media since the kidnapping happened? An innocent American trying to do good in the world was kidnapped by a gang of Islamic thugs and the event is basically ignored. The media has been focused on an under inflated football rather than the plight of this young American woman. Our President may relate to the Muslim culture in that it appears that he is a sultan’s harem eunuch.
Given how evil those beasts are, she might be better off dead.
The video of her beheading from sometime in October will probably hit the streets next week.
As much as I hope this young woman is alive and unharmed, I don’t think that will turn out to be the case.
