"What’s a blag?"

It's short for "Blagojevich" as in Rod Blagojevich with the '80s hair cut from Chicago. Look familiar?

Here's the wiki on him.

Who's come to fix your broadband? It may be a Fed in disguise. Without a search warrant

A Nevada court has ruled FBI agents can dress up as ISP repairmen to blag their way into a suspect's home without a search warrant – but must tell the courts about it when they do.

If you called for ISP repairmen, why are you not going to let them in? ... LOL ...

I hope that doesn’t explain the poor service from our former cable provider.

Or maybe the guy was just an idiot.

Never heard the word “blag” so I looked it up.

“noun

1.

a robbery, esp with violence

verb (transitive) blags, blagging, blagged

2.

to obtain by wheedling or cadging: she blagged free tickets from her mate

3.

to snatch (wages, someone’s handbag, etc); steal

4.

to rob (esp a bank or post office)”

Yep. Fits the gubmint to a T!

So the cops can go into anyone’s home without a warrant as long as they are pretending to be cable repairmen.

I guess the founders just couldn’t envision that.

Or because they're dressed as ISP repairmen instead of plumbers?

Uh, the White House plumbers didn't dress up like plumbers...

Is it any wonder I so dislike strangers showing up at the house for any reason? Besides the waking-me-up thingy, I mean. LOL

…and how is this different from Watergate?
Because “Oh, we told the court… That makes it ok!”?
Or because they’re dressed as ISP repairmen instead of plumbers?
Or because it’s a private residence, not a political venue?

Thinking about it some more plus remembering my own interactions in my life with ‘authorities’ I have reluctantly come to the conclusion that:

A. The justice ‘system’ from lawmakers down to the badged Law Enforcement Officer’ think of the common citizen as ‘them’.

B. Hold the common citizen in a state between ‘sheep to be fleeced’ and ‘others infringing on their turf’.

C. The Justice system also really likes ‘civil asset forfeiture’ as a means of punishing, controlling as well as an additional funding mechanism for the Justice system.

What they don’t see is that by their actions they have fallen in the eyes of the citizenry from impartial protectors of Americans to nearly the same point that the ‘subjects’ of old England held the Sheriffs of England. Yes... just like the Story of Robin Hood and the Sheriff of Nottingham.

The Sheriff of Nottingham used his position to extort and terrorize the subjects in his area of control to take their property via ‘taxes’ or their very lives as he or his men decided on their own. Robin of Locksley was one answer to the predations of authority on their subjects.

But coming back to today, we are living in dangerous times. Our enemies outside of our country would like to see us broken and destroyed. Our enemies inside our country would like to see the same thing occur. The common people just want to be left alone to live their lives in peace and have peaceful commerce with each other.

Sheep and wolves... and our protectors the ‘sheepdogs’ seem to be treating the sheep more like a meal than as something to protect. So what is it today here in America? Sheep, Wolves and lessor wolves masquerading as sheepdogs?

Only for a civilian court, not for a tribunal.

When does the war begin? Is it time yet?

The universe maintains symmetry.

Islam is at war with America, America is not at war with islam.

To preserve symmetry, the American government is at war with us, we are not at war with the American government..
