Democrat they refuse to make sure everyone knows it.

The very worst is the Oregonian knew all this during the Governors campaign a little more than 80 days ago.

Speaking of Blago, he’s been moved to a lower security part of the prison he’s in.

Honestly, I would commute his sentence, not kidding. The only reason they threw the book at him is because he embarrassed Obama.

“All of this was known during the campaign, the press would not report it, now its an issue? After he is elected for his 8th through 12th years of graft and corruption! “

Some of the press reported it, but the voters ignored it.

With a “D” behind his name on the ballot, he could have diddled a donkey on the Capitol stairway and still been reelected.

I would too, as soon as he squeals on other Chicago machine RATS, preferably those in the Obama administration (and make no mistake, this guy is a career Chicago machine pol, he knows where the bodies are buried).

Until then, Blago can rot for all I care. Admitted though, plenty of politicians who have done far worse than him have gotten much lighter sentences.

**That intention, however, is no match for an ugly reality of his own making, whose sordid elements keep surfacing with dispiriting regularity, most recently this week thanks to the work of Nick Budnick and Laura Gunderson of The Oregonian/OregonLive. Two people involved in Kitzhaber’s 2010 campaign helped Hayes find paid work with groups interested in Oregon policy, Budnick and Gunderson reported. Both have landed in Kitzhaber’s administration. If you would like more information about what's happening in Oregon, please FReepmail me.

I lost my Oregon list when my computer crashed this last year, so please send me your name by FReepmail if you want to be on this list.

Oh, piff.

What's a little corruption among fellow believers?

When the RATs doubled down on BJ they gave the green light to corruption.

That would be nice, but he knows he’d end up “committing suicide” in prison if he did that. Maybe once there is a Republican President he can be offered witness protection, lol.

IIRC, no Republican has won a non-senatorial state-wide election since 1986 (I believe a re-election win at Secretary of State). Gordon Smith’s retention of a Senate seat was the only non-incumbent Republican win since 1982. The drought in Oregon is the longest of any in the nation.

Today’s Statesmen Journal editorial says he shouldn’t resign. The spin will make any reader dizzy.

No Lt. Gov. in Oregon, the succession is to Secretary of State Kate Brown, a Soros backed "Secretary of State Project" entity.

But a special election for Gov. would be forced in 2016, for a shortened 2 year term. And meanwhile a new SOS would be needed (and Oregon could sure use a new one).

All of that being said, Oregon is in real trouble right now and I think this controversy surrounding Kitz and that woman can and should be used as a cudgel on the Democratic legislative agenda. Right now Democrats are threatening to destroy some of the best things about Oregon (and there are some good things about Oregon).

His name needs to be super glued to every piece of that agenda, and repeated loudly and often. And let it drag on for 2 years, that ought to be just about right.
