Recently, I had fun turning in some relic pieces of jam-o-matic junk at an event sponsored by Ceasefire Oregon. Funny thing, that. It seems Fox News picked up on the event and almost got the link to TTAG right. As they had run out of gift cards by the time I got there, they handed out IOUs, promising to mail my gift cards. So I left my name and mailing address . . .
Tadaaaa! The cards arrived.

Would have been nice to see what he turned in.
If I turn in a Pop-Tart nibbled into the shape of a handgun, can I get a gift certificate?
I wonder if these guys would recognize a starter pistol for what it is? I have one that was given to me when I was seven or eight and was my “cap gun” ;’)
Hot puppies! I’m only nine junk pieces away from a new assault rifle!
My brother bought a tube-feed semi-auto Marlin back in the 70’s that would jam and bend the next round about every third shot.
I would turn that in and use the cash for some more .22LR ammo.
Somewhere Ive got one of those kit-built muzzle-loading .44 caliber, percussion cap derringers that never, NEVER worked right. My fault I suppose but if i could turn it into a $50, $75 or, ideally a $100 gift card, that would be sweet.
From the bottom, I see a Davis, Beretta and, at the top, possibly a Bersa. The Davis, Beretta and Bersa are real firearms, but after many years and a few boxes of ammo through them, they’re likely to end up as “Jam-omatics”.
