So, the Harry Reid “simple majority” “nuclear option” rule in the Senate has been returned to the old “gotta have 60 votes”. In other words, chicken shiite Senate Majority leader McConnell went back to the old rules.
IF this was Reid’s control and they wanted this— the 51 simple majority would make it the law. Period.
This is chicken crap... keep the same rules.. Mitchy ole boy— we WON the Senate and the House. Scaredy cat Mitch.

The DHS Funding Bill Just Failed. Now McConnell Must Decide What Kind of Leader He Is. He has to decide if he will continue to be Lord Fouls lap dog or if he will grow a pair and lead in the Conservative manner his constituents elected n him to.

All the RATs need to block anything in the Senate is 41 votes. They are still running the show. Don’t forget that the V.P. has a vote too, so if he is present 61 votes are needed for a 2/3rds majority.

already shows what kind of “leader” he is.

"Nobody really has a strategy yet, I am sorry to say," McCain said. "I have heard about 300 options, none of them so far viable."How is it even possible to have many discussions about this and still not have some kind of strategy? These people are either complete idiots (entirely possible), or they are simply trying to keep the amnesty train rolling while trying not to anger the base (most likely). Obama must laugh himself to sleep at night knowing that he is facing a bunch of losers.

It’s funny, but I seem to remember the Democrats ramming through pretty much whatever they wanted, including Obamacare, with 51 votes.

But the next step will be much harder for McConnell. He will have to recalibrate conservative wishes with the political reality: Republicans captured the majority, but they don't have the votes they need to move forward without Democrats' help. So change the rules, Mitch, just like Dingy Harry!

The measure would block Obama's executive action on immigration and place "Dreamers" and millions of other immigrants back at risk of deportation.A lie by the fake journalist scribbling this tripe.
Obama will NOT enforce the law, he has already said as much. So they are not at risk.

Split the funding into smaller bills. Send over funding for popular and/or necessary things first but make sure no funding for the unconstitutional part is in any of them.
