Sowell hits the nail right on the head again. I’ve been a fan of Thomas Sowell since I was a teenager.

For more than the 40 years that I have been following him, this fine American has hit every nail square on the head and hit it hard; yet he is unknown to most Americans and instead, we have the Manchurian in the White House.

The people of India should have tarred and feathered him for using the words “terrible poverty” and “United States” in the same sentence.

PS - Also, I refuse to believe that Barack Hussein Obama was ever discriminated AGAINST in the United States because of his racial background. The times during which he has lived in the United States have been periods of giving additional [and large] BENEFITS to people of his background.

Thomas Sowell is a jewel. He is a clear thinker, a lucid writer, and in this case he knows from experience whereof he speaks.
If you ever get a chance to hear Sowell when he was a guest on Milton Friedman’s TV series, don’t miss it. It is probably on YouTube somewhere.
