As a little girl, I was always reminded by my mother that gum chewing was in poor taste. She would recite this little ditty and it has stuck with me ever since. It seems so apropos when watching the spectacle of our President-of-Poor-Manners as he gallivants the globe and chews gum at formal events.

Obama should make every American with a modicum of decency feel ashamed and sickened as he continues his coarse and boorish behavior. We used to be known as the Ugly American, a term used to refer to perceptions of arrogant behavior by Americans abroad, but Barack Hussein Obama truly epitomizes such genuine arrogance.

After reflection, I see it all now:

My (all-girl) high school chemistry teacher used to make kids caught chewing gum in class write it out on the blackboard. I wasn't a cud chewer, but I saw it written out a lot.
One major annoyance is someone who smacks while chewing gum and talking.
That would be truly heartbreaking.
I’ve all but disowned a couple of cousins, and chose to not renew a couple of IT contracts with customers(at MY expense) because of their support of him.
I used to not take politics personally, but when it came to him, it was a whole new level. Anyone that supports him is a literally a party in DESTROYING the country as we know it. I just can’t get passed that.
The way I see it, is the ultimate punishment is for society to shun people. If EVERYONE did this, things would work themselves out.
PS: I know that’s likely impossible with your children. I guess you’ll just have to sit back and hope that their life experiences will provide them wisdom.

They are really great people,but we NEVER discuss politics.
I have 5 (all in their 40s and 50s)——2 libs.2 Freeper types.and one who kind of wavers in different directions.
The in-law kids are also split.
That’s the way it is.

Nah ! We all talk about The Boston Bruins ,The Red Sox, and the grandchildren fill us in on high school and college life.(The kids are all libs,I think. :-)
