That’s true... the opposition is not reasoned, like “this fellow has had problems, will he evolve in a useful direction, what can we do to encourage this to occur?” it is “this is it! that is a black mark on him forever! put him up, count me out!”
Good theologians know this is folly. It is God’s grace that makes the creation go.
If they discriminate against hiring native Americans, that sounds illegal. Could it be that most American kids are not majoring in math and sciences, and are not aspiring to these various professional fields?
I think that is the case.
Of course it is discriminatory.
It has been for many years.
I can give you some history if you are interested...
but as to your main point,
yes... a lot of American kids shy away from math and science classes.
Some, because they think they are ‘hard’
Some, because they think they are ‘boring’
(BOTH of those opinions reflect poor teaching, methinks, because math and science need not be presented as either especially ‘hard’ or ‘boring’!!!!!!!)
anyway,
some American kids shy away because they have learned about the problems in securing engineering/science employment
so there are a combination of factors at work
Truer words cannot be spoken particulary in light of the fact that every Cent that drives the Washington D.C. economy is a cent stolen off the hard working backs of Americans Everywhere else.
Washington D.C. produces nothing but corruption and usurpation from the Congress to the it’s employees in black robes, All of them needs to be kicked out and cut down.
I think the way they teach math in school, is unnecessarily repetitive and non-reflective of the technological world we now work in.
They need to focus more on concept less on repetitive implementation, because anyone doing high level math without a calculator in the professional world is going to find themselves out of the job.
A few days ago I received a donation letter from Walker. Right now he’s using the donor list from his campaigns and the recall election. It’s probably a huge list.
I gave him a small donation for both his recall and his last election. If I received a letter everyone who gave a donation also got one.
He’s going to the people to finance his campaign.
Good to hear!!
gee, the knives are out for walker on this site.
Nope - I'm saying that whjen a potential candidate like Walker becomes so "unclean" that he can't be voted for, those who hold those attitudes really have no thoughts about using reality as apart of their opinions/desires. If we eschew those who may be very conservative, but who have an area that they could improve on, thereby allowing an Obama a second term, or a Leftist successor to take over (inserting the dynamite) when he's done, we are effectively throwing out the baby with the bathwater and missing opportunities to move things a bit more to the right (putting the finger in the dike).
I’m with you - thanks for letting me know there are some who see with their brains and not their emotions.
