Bathrooms are the final realm of privacy. So far as is known, even Winston Smith did not have Big Brother on the screen staring at him in the bathroom. However, as reported by Hadas Gold of Politico, staffers at a Democrat retreat in Philidelphia went so far as to even escort reporters to the bathroom:

This film won the Academy Award for best foreign language film in 2006...it is a splendid film.

William F Buckley praised it; and he didn't praise anything without due consideration.

Amazing that this film came out before the ascendancy of Valerie and her minion Hussein. Yet it accurately depicts the kind of society they want to inflict on America.

You are right - that is an excellent film.

The scene at the mailroom when it was announced that the Berlin Wall had fallen still stands out in my mind.

The cover you show implies it is a voyer movie (not criticising you btw), and it is, but not in a sexual way IMHO
