President Obama Thursday touted the looming release of his federal budget, urging Republicans to support a slate of tax increases to pay for his economic blueprint for the middle class.
We have to choose what we want that future to look like, Obama said in an op-ed published by the Huffington Post. Will we accept an economy where only a few of us do spectacularly well? Or will we commit ourselves to an economy that generates rising incomes and rising chances for everyone who makes the effort?
The president is calling for a 7 percent spending hike in fiscal 2016, the elimination of across-the-board budget cuts, the so-called sequester, and an increase of $320 billion in taxes over the next decade.

Hope the pubbies stick to their "dead on arrival" budget threat.

Plns crash should have been plane crash. Typing in the dark. I am trying to recall how many times I saw them...maybe 5. I also saw the Allman Brothers at the University of Florida Bandshell for free when they thought the future MTV would be concert clips. There is at least one video from this concert on Youtube. The Bandshell is an A-frame roof over the stage with trees behind it.
Barack Obama will be such a change from Bush. Have you heard his platform slogan? Hope and Change. I can’t wait for November 2008 to vote.
*what universe does this guy inhabit? He’s still campaigning like he’s the democrat candidate.
**we should call him Barack the Virgin
How bad can it get? compare the number of working in 2007 and end of 2014. The population has increased. We still lack millions of jobs. And look at how many stopped looking for jobs! And look at those number of people losing jobs during the years Obama was busy destroying our healthcare system! Look how well the foreign born have done.
The data are annualized except when noted otherwise. All are monthly or quarterly. I use the last month / quarter of the year.
Much of the size of this is taken up by instructions on how to get the sources of the data and much, much more data!

Taking into account the year preceding the Obama administration, here is the first six years of the administration using these spread sheet formulas to compute %'s:

I've combined several tables into one. Most of the tables were obtained here: go to Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) Labor Force Statisics from the Current Population Survey (CPS). Make your selections. I chose quarterly data. I took the fourth quarter data from each table and combined them into the main part of the table above. For the year 2014 I took the third quarter data. |

Both blueprints and socialism are outdated.
when was the last time we had a budget?
Tax increases on the middle class are a “blueprint for success?”
At least our next President will be an American.
Success at what? Turning America into Cuba?
Will his Budget be Fiction , Comedy or Tragedy this year ,LOL
Dreams From My Mack Daddy
Zero’s pappy proposed taxing the peasants at 100%.
Then guys like him would decide what we got back.
Budget? What’s this budget of which he speaks? Has he actually submitted, let alone signed a budget in the last six years?
And by budget, I mean an actual budget. Not a continuing resolution or whatnot..
