The mayor received threats after appearing on MSNBC on Monday, a city spokesman said.
Mayor Bill Finch appeared on the show PoliticsNation for an interview about the weather conditions in the city during the blizzard.
According to city spokesman Brett Broesder, Finch thanked the show's host, Rev. Al Sharpton, for his leadership on climate change following the interview.

Al was "ordained" at age 10 by a DC preacher and has perpetuated the lie ever since. Both men are professional race baiters who wouldn't warrant a spec in history if positive contributions counted.
