A reporter who broke the story that an Argentine prosecutor was found dead shortly before he was about to make explosive allegations about President Cristina Kirchner fled Argentina on Sunday after threats.
A citizen of Argentina and Israel, he worked for the English-language Buenos Aires Herald. Pachter fled Argentina after receiving threats, and being followed, he told colleagues in other media.
The reporter, who also worked with Israel's Haaretz, told colleagues his phones had been tapped in Argentina.

The prosecutor seems to have committed suicide in the old Arkansas manner.
Not to worry. Obola will help tie up Cristina’s loose ends for her.
Strange that she isn’t going along with the suicide story. She thinks he was murdered to implicate a cover-up in her gov’t.
The suicide story fell apart before she had a chance.
normal behavior in a tyranny
Journalism has always been a very dangerous profession for responsible professionals who take their mission of informing the public seriously. In a totalitarian society like ours is becoming they are either subverted to play the government’s tune, imprisoned or “go to the wall” for a Che Guevara-style execution
Do they even tap phones anymore? Don’t they just call up the local government agency that controls the phone company and have the phone call routed to a government computer and saved to 5.25” floppy disk?
They pull the same stuff as Slick and Obama, they run illegal-immigration schemes with dirt-poor and tree-stump-ignert Bolivian Indians, they've trashed their economy, and (something Obozo hasn't done..... Yet....) they've seized the country's IRA and 401(k)-type savings accounts, giving the holders receipts and limited-draw "allowances" while taking the money and blowing it on their schemes and bs.
The Kirchners are a low-grade horror show of what America will become, if we have much more Clintonista bullsqueeze substituting for real policy. Don't believe me, lurking libruls? Google up "Ferfal Aguirre" and read his eyeball account of 2000-2008 or whenever he left Buenos Aires for the relative peace and security of .... <drum roll>.... Belfast. As in, Ireland.
happens in the USA I’m convinced....
Dual citizenship raises flags in my mind, as if the person always wants to have an out in case of trouble.
