I am not tracking your response. I don’t go in lockstep with FR. I don’t advise it. Some of the Freepers expect and dictate what the response should be but as I said, dude, I don’t play that game.
“He regretted more than once his priorities were God, country, family, when it should have been God, Family, country. In his own words. Youd need the context to see just how unsavory, rather than patriotic, this comes off.”
Maybe he also felt his Government let him down. Just wondering, my words not his. Surely he had to witness the ridiculous ‘rules of engagement’ changes and how our country is treating its Veterans and citizens in the past several years.
Georgia isn’t Texas, geez, give it a rest.
Wow, she reminded me why I cannot stand the media.
So true, what a ditz.
All he ever wanted to do was to be a cowboy. Go see the movie and make up your own mind.
Oh, yeah, the $100-million weekend speaks to shoddy marketing.
Good to see Clint still in good form. The MSM viciously cast him off as senile after his “Empty Chair” lampoon on Obama a few years back. Guess he wasn’t as senile as they portrayed.
Sorry for misinterpreting. I’ve seen a lot of intolerance and demands for lockstepping.
Well, no, you wouldn’t have to be there; you can read, can’t you? Take it up with the book, not me.
Well I can read. Can you articulate support for your point?
You're the one who read the book, tried to make a point based on the book, and then couldn't support your point with information from the book.
As I said, you haven't documented anything in the book that makes the guy seem unsavory.
there’s a few door to door battles. You could call it a war flick. From what I know Cooper brings the character issues home from how the values were instilled to the effects of the war to why he helped the wounded stateside. Well done.
As I said, I read the book, the context, and tried to understand the author. In his words. He comes off as one who had a messed up set of priorities, worse than the one I mentioned. The unsavory part about that is in the book.
You required an example, I gave it you. You now require articulation? Do the work. Read the danged book on your own.
Meet you back here for a discussion after you’ve read it.
I am answering a question about a line in the movie. Try again.
LM was quoting a line from the movie spoken by the character playing Chris Kyle, not displaying “northern liberal lunacy” whatever that is. However, you on the other hand, display an ineptitude beneath the title “attorney” for jumping to conclusions before you know the facts.
Oh, in that case, I misunderstood. Has he thought of putting quotes around quotes? Glad to know he is not a Hubert Horatio Humphrey (HHH) Minnesota liberal.
And lest we forget Taraeza Kerry was African American by her own claim.
