Battle for King RINO Shows Party Paradigm Shift

Mitt Romney told donors that he's running for president in 2016. Many have speculated that this hurts Jeb Bush, and some have really had a good time dreaming about an epic fight between the two men who won't be getting any base support.

I know this isn't breaking news, but it really should be understood. Both Jeb and Mitt are prime examples of where the beltway wants to take the Republican Party.

When you read Jeb, think: amnesty. When you read Mitt, think: Obamacare. As if after this country has been beaten into mediocrity and submission to the state, by an imperial president, all we have to look forward to is a battle for the crowning of King RINO.

The two main problems the base had with the recent CRomnibus and have rejected consistently for decades happen to be, government-run healthcare and an increase in illegal immigrants entering the country, along with amnesty. And the first two candidates out of the gate we see competing for donors who will listen to their tripe, are the poster boys for both liberal issues.

Recall the aftermath of the 2012 election, when beltway pundits immediately began sowing the seeds for amnesty. “Demographics” was to become a household word within two weeks of that huge loss by the only "electable" Republican the ruling class could find. In typical backwards fashion, it seems it is common knowledge where government is the main employer, that the Republican Party must legalize illegal actions in order to move forward.

I’d take Romney over Bush personally.

But it wont come to that because they will cancel each other out and allow Cruz or Walker to get the nomination.

Cruz or Walker? No chance.

If I had to lay money on who the GOPe will back, it’ll be Bishop Willard - between RomneyCare and pro-homosexual, he’s the most palatable to the low-info’s.

The name of Bush has been tarred & feathered by the media, and the GOPe knows it; so the Dauphin is out.

Yes, and both of them are way to the left of JFK.

Romney and Bush will both get tons of funding and will beat each other to a pulp fighting over the same moderate voters. Meanwhile Cruz will impress in the debates and scoop up all the conservative voters and win.

".....they will cancel each other out and allow Cruz or Walker to get the nomination"

Only if we conservatives ALL rally behind ONE candidate and NOT split our vote among a long list like we did in 2012.

As I have long said, the GOP-e is setting up a “false dichotomy” of Bush or Romney, “choose your poison”. They will not tolerate any other Republican candidate, and if through some miracle a conservative is nominated, the GOP-e will support Hillary before they would support a conservative.

In truth, they want Bush, and Romney is watching Bush’s back, maybe in hope that Bush will name him VP.

But it is a devil’s deal. They are both liberals.

Don’t call them “moderates” because they aren’t. They are wholly owned by the multinational corporations with ZERO loyalty to the US, who want internationalism, for America to be just another country that does things like Europe, yet will commit its military to attack countries that the multinationals want to exploit.

Bush and Romney are less loyal to the US than even a foreign conqueror. H.W. Bush set us on a path of uncontrolled fiscal disaster, and W. Bush created a terrible and utterly unnecessary police state.

Jeb Bush or Romney will open our borders to unlimited immigration, and get to preside over a massive depression, guaranteeing perhaps 50 years of uninterrupted Democrat presidents and congresses.

Which will leave America a third world nation, impoverished for many generations, and turned into a crime ridden desert.

Bush cannot win just because of his name. If he or anyone in the RINO faction haven’t figured this out yet.......

Well look back and ask yourself when was the last time you voted in a general election for a GOP nominee you really really wanted for President. For me it was Reagan.

We just think we pick the Republican nominee. Actually we don’t the big party donors pick a couple of guys they like who will stick with the uniparty line if they get elected and they throw in a couple billion dollars to make sure that they run over the other candidates who have no chance because their message never gets out to enough voters. Or if it does the big money candidates can run enough negative ads to smear them out of existence.

I’m sitting and watching this unfold once again as the big money donors are going to back Jeb and Mitt and let them duke it out meanwhile their kerfuffle will eliminate better choices like Ted Cruz. Scott Walker and Bobby Jindal will likely be casualties as well.

Its like a never ending merry go round. I stick by my assertion that we went past the ballot box in Nov 2012. I think we are all going to be faced with an unpopular choice in 2016. I hope I’m wrong.

They've already started in on Mr. Cruz.

(The ridiculous 'scandal' of having unopened beer as a minor.)

I hope Mr. Cruz has no actual skeletons in his closet, or we will see him destroyed in an unending media blitz.

Count on a RINO candidate in any case, because if Mr. Cruz starts gaining momentum, and they have no dirt on him, he will experience a plane crash or a convenient 'heart attack' like Breitbart.

All followed by the usual “If you don’t vote for him, we’ll get four more years of a democrat.” It’s all part of the GOPe’s crusade to achieve excellence by constantly offering and rewarding mediocrity.

It’s hard to believe that Romney still has supporters like we see on this thread.

There is an attempt to morph Romney into a conservative alternative to candidates, when Romney is the most hard left man to ever reach his position in the GOP.

Instead of being to the left of everyone, and in his own world of liberalism to the left of rinos, suddenly Romney is being moved to the more conservative column of rinos, which is absolute nonsense, and positioning that we need to fight.
