The FBI arrested an Ohio man on Wednesday for plotting to bomb the U.S. Capitol in an Islamic State-inspired attack.
Christopher Lee Cornell, also known as Raheel Mahrus Ubaydah, of Cincinnati, was arrested on charges of attempting to kill a U.S. government official, ABC News (reported).
The FBI first noticed Mr. Cornell after he tweeted support for known terror groups, according to government documents. Further investigation showed that he planned to detonate pipe bombs around the U.S. Capitol and open fire on officials and staffers, ABC News reported.

No telling what his "possible motive" is. Even if he had it on videotape and sent it to the local TV station it wouldn't matter. It would be branded "Workplace violence" or "lone wolf" syndrome maybe - or is that schtick getting too old?
These guys are really missing the boat and can't be very bright. If they wanted some real media attention, they should join their local Tea Party chapter and the NRA. Then they would get wall-to-wall media coverage and they could get their message out and slander those two organizations at the same time. It would be a twofer!
