Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Wednesday met with leaders of the pro-Israel lobbying group AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee), and spoke about the renewed global awareness of the need to fight Islamist terrorism following last weeks attacks in Paris.

Not many years ago, the moderate Islamic Turkey was perhaps Israel's most trusted ally in the region. However with the rise of the Erdoğan administration, Turkey has embarked on a hard turn towards Islam and anti-semitism. Since the incident with the Gaza Flotilla where Turkish ship (MV Mavi Marmara) was boarded by Israeli soldiers, Turkey has been outright beligerent towards Israel.
Ezekiel 38-39 lists a coalition of nations that attacks Israel. Turkey (Gomer and Togarmah) in prominently listed in this coalition. It is presumed that this coalition is responding to the aftermath of a middle east war between Israel and the nations surrounding it (Psalms 83).
The Israeli Primeminster is right.

In defense of the hypocrites, their outrage was that most of those murdered were secularist/leftists, i.e. on their own team. Erdogan said nothing to offend that sensibility.

Finally eyes are focusing on Turkey’s return to an Islamic State. They’re the real ones shooting for a Caliphate and they want to be the chosen one.
Does this put them at odds with Iran? It certainly does with Egypt who’s President Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi stepped up to the plate and pointed out that there’s something wrong with the Islamic mindset that needs to be fixed.
