Chick-fil-A does this kind of thing all the time, and a lot more.
I hate that expression “grabbing lunch” yech
Will not mention chain where saw similar. Was out West when saw one early morning at another chain.
I always look like I just stepped off my Harley and the people at Hobby Lobby can’t seem to do enough for me.
I’ve had the manager carry stuff to the counter for me because I’d not bothered to get a cart or basket, thinking I wasn’t going to buy that much.
The employees are so cheerful and friendly, it makes my teeth hurt.
:)
I wish we had one here in the high desert.
LOL...I’ve noticed that at Hobby Lobby too!
Gosh...I WONDER what the “common denominator” is?!? (LOL!)
Yes this story contradicts the narrative. The narrative is that Chick Fik A is a worthless organization with terrible values due to homosexual marriage.
Whatever happned to that Adam Smith dude who videod himself berating a Chick Fik A employee? I remember he got fired from his corporate CEO job due to the bad publicity. He got his due..
There’s one in Boca Raton, which is sort of a “High Desert” LOL!/s
I had never gone to them before that boycott. I had actually never even heard of them. But now I stop in from time to time.
The manager at my local grocery store gives out vouchers to local families. Not much (I saw $25, a couple of times) but enough to make ends meet, which I'm sure was the intent.
Only reason that I know about this, is because I just happened to be at the front of the store when he did it. No fanfare, no hoopla, no "Hey everyone, look how charitable we are!!!!!" .... there was just a need, and the guy took care of it.
Was the right thing to do, and one reason why I'm glad to live in the small town where I reside.
If you get wind of a CFA franchise opportunity in the Reno area, sell everything and invest with the franchisee. CFA is a money machine because of it’s values and it’s right-tasty menu.
I’ve never been in a CFA that didn’t have a line. Stopped at one in Hendersonville NC the other day. Packed. We wondered if they were new, so we asked a nice lady cleaning tables. No, they were thirteen years old and she had been there since day one. I suspect she was one of the owners.
No! No! No! This didn’t happen. Cathy and Chick Fil-A are hateful, and that’s all there is to it. Quick! Look over there! There’s a homophobe.
I take particular note of the fact that the manager didn’t first ask the homeless man his sexual orientation.
In the spirit of true Christianity, Mark Meadows took the exhortation to heart.
Thank God -- literally -- that such men dwell among us.
Given that weird circumstance, we did a bit of the food court...and Chick Fil A was right next to McDonalds, and always had a much longer line.
While waiting in line to order something, I mentioned to the guy next to me that I was about to have my very first meal from Chick Fil A, and pretty quickly quite a few others started chiming in with their versions of "be sure and try this!"
Indeed...Chick-Fil-A seems to attract a friendly, festive, happy crowd.
It’s enough to provoke some people to jealousy!
May I recommend the Asian Salad? :-)
Unfortunately, there's probably not a store within a hundred miles of this part of Kalifornia....our only saving grace is that we have In-N-Out Burgers!
” Happens more than you’d know. “
Here in AZ, I see things like this all the time.
Sure it does. It’s easy to be apathetic, especially when you’re trying to run a business.
If *you* found it so easy, we’d hear of *your* altruistic exploits in public areas and be sending around e-mails about *you* acting kindly.
