After emerging largely unscathed from the financial crisis that hammered North American and European financial institutions, Islamic banking has momentum.
Worth $1 trillion in assets, Islamic banking is being lauded by British Prime Minister David Cameron and supported by Canadas Conservative government, major banks and credit unions, leading business schools and influential Muslims across the country.
Islamic banking which bans interest payments, pure monetary speculation and investing in such things as alcohol, gambling, pornographic media and pork is being sold as the next big thing in financing for Canada, which is home to just over a million Muslims.

Harper Clarifies Remarks On Islamic Terrorism The fact that there are people in any community who are dedicated to violence and terrorism is not a reflection on the community as a whole. We work with our security and immigration agencies to identify those individuals who are a security threat and they are not admitted to the country. Or if they have managed to come in, we can remove them. There is no way that this government will ever permit a blanket condemnation of any group of people based on their religion, their language or anything else.
Gee, tell that to the Nazis, Harper. And to the frog in soon-to-be boiling water.
“Islamic banking” is the financial arm of Sharia Law, so right away, my alarm bells go off.
But besides that, two points -
(1) if it’s a business, how do they survive? They can’t charge interest on a loan, so what, they add on an “admin fee”? Just a financial trick - it’s not like “no interest allowed” means free money - borrower still pays, so how is it so much more moral (in that area) than regular banking?
(2) Why do Muslims need their own banking system? I don’t see no Chinese banking systems, Hispanic banking systems, Indian banking systems, etc. Again, this apparent refusal to adapt to our regular culture, in matters large and small, sets off alarm bells for me.
I remain skeptical.
2) Part of laying the foundation of eventual world domination.
there will be “riders”..connected to sharia banking..
Money is one more way, they can conquer. The Buzzards.
There is a few Hispanic banks and black owned banks. I wonder if I could go to an Islamic bank and put pork sausages and Playboy magazines in my safe deposit box?
Well, they sure got that “no interest” thing down pat ... oh wait, that wasn’t supposed to be on savings, was it?
In those cases, the ownership is different but banking “system” is still Western.
Muslims want something completely different, a banking system based on religion and its commands.
So ..... what are the chances that a non-Muslim man, or a woman, or a Christian lesbian (the trifecta) could get a loan at an Islamic bank?
About the same as finding an iceberg in the Sahara?
I am surprised that Mr. Harper would approve of this. God help us.

***Why do Muslims need their own banking system?***
Because they intend to take over and control. They believe that they have a system that is superior to capitalism and marxism
Most of this thinking started again with revivalist Islamists, they started dropping any of the westernized ways they had adopted and now they intend to islamize us and they have somewhat.
