100 would be two per state. I figure that’s a good start.
Ideally we should have thousands.

Oddly enough, police are often very happy to show the public what they do and how they do it. Most often through ways like “ride alongs”, members of the public get hundreds of lessons in a single work shift, without even realizing it. Little things, often unspoken, that add up to a greater whole.
Joe Arpaio had a slam dunk with this, just the other day, with a local activist who had been very sour on the police, and is now a lot more appreciative of what they do.
Though Al Sharpton probably won’t take him up on it, that is Sharpton’s loss, because such a drill is eye opening.

The chances of Sharpton taking this challenge are so utterly miniscule that they cant be calculated..
I doubt he would do it to win a high stakes bet.

Interacting with Al Sharpton is the same thing as carrying on a discussion with a brick.
To: VideoDoctor
interacting with a brick requires far less faith...

I doubt he would do it to win a high stakes bet. He'd probably do it for a hundred hits of Viagra.

I wonder if I can find Al’s Email address.....
this seems like the sort of challenge he might take....

People can change their minds. Even liberals. How many of us on here used to be liberal, albeit only when we were young and ignorant and foolish? I think we need to keep on working to change minds through Arpaios sort of scenario, and then keep talking to them. Once theyve had a paradigm shift in one area of their political thinking, its easier to help them see the errors in the rest of their viewpoints as well. Insightful. You're right on this MwFs...

Maupin was Sharpton’s “mini me”. Talked, dressed, and hair like Al. Wonder if he can persuade Al? (doubt it)

Sharpton might be one of those people who believes that “any publicity is good publicity”. He might even bring some of the MSNBC radicals with him to try and smear Arpaio.

They did it with another activist, and he completely changed his tune.
Love it! Thank you.
